How big the the size difference on average in comparison with DD5.1, and DTS-HD MA?

Sure HDB, a tracker focused on uncompromising quality, would be ok with an extra 500mb for DTS especially since it has double the bitrate, seems like a good compromise.

Do trackers ever look at average seed time when inviting. Debating setting up RSS to download shows on BTN as they come out to get snatch count up. But they'll be deleted after a season pack is uploaded so I'm sure I can't seed them for more then 3-6 months from the first episode. Which will probably keep my average seed length down.

It can't but you would have a hard time finding a site to affil your group if you strictly deal with internals. You would need to find a siteop that likes you and more importantly your content. That's why you see very few of those types of groups but they do occasionally exist.

Getting into private trackers is far easier. Your content might not spread if it's older. But if you upload a new release to BTN it has almost the same sort of effect as preing something to the scene. It will trickle down to all the other trackers and even public DDL sites.

I'm not sure you're understanding the difference between Scene and P2P. The Scene is all about racing. A Scene group makes a release, and if it meets the minimum Scene standards for the type of media, it becomes THE Scene release. If another Scene group tries to make the same release, even if it is superior, it will be considered a "DUPE". If it doesn't meet the standards, the same group can re-release a "PROPER" (fixed) version, as long as another group doesn't release their own proper version first, which causes the original to be "NUKED"

On BTN both Scene and P2P files can co-exist. There are many, many P2P groups. Some are bad, some are good. The top P2P groups put a huge emphasis on quality over speed, and their encodes are considered transparent to the source media.

Not so much getting something wrong as it is minor omissions. Another important thing to note is that if something was released in the past before the scene changed their technical standards it can't be re-released with the newer better encode settings. This isn't done because they don't care about quality. It's because they don't want shit tons of old garbage nobody wants to watch flooding topsites.

Also on p2p the definition of a "group" can be pretty loose. On BTN the scene style group tag on the end of a release can just refer to how it's encoded (-HANDJOB) or where it was shared (-BTN). Just because it has that kind of name on it doesn't mean these are organized groups with leaders and members like in the scene.

While there are differences you can kinda fit them into categories. Sites that have the same kind of content don't necessarily fit into the same category because of the differences in leadership, management, etc. There are general trackers which mostly feed off of the scene, then there are cabal trackers and niche trackers which generate a great deal of their own content while still retaining some stuff from the scene.
