Yunpan.360:
Pros:
>10TB free cloud storage
>preview files like music, pdf, zip files, in browser
Cons:
>slow speeds
>requires client to upload files larger than 360MB
>the client constantly disconnects and doesn't automatically reconnect
>client was viewed as malware on earlier versions
>preview of mp3 files stutters

Baidu pan:
Pros:
>2TB free cloud storage
>preview files like music, pdf, zip files, movies in browser
>download magnets in your cloud
Cons:
>slow speeds
>requires client to upload files larger than 100MB
>movies always stutter while streaming and require flash player

Weiyun:

>1TB free cloud storage
>preview files like music, pdf in browser
>filesize limit 1GB in browser(decent)
>download speeds 2-3MB/s (decent)
Cons:
>preview of music files doesn't need flash but you can't see the player(no stutter)
>preview of pdf files gives me an error

I would/will choose multiple weiyun since it's the only reasonable service, the others just aren't really offering that much space(360 constantly disconnects you and you have to manually reconnect like every 15min+100KB/s upload speed, baidu doesn't disconnect you but the upload speed is low and the download is like 600KB/s and even tells you in the client that you need to buy more download speed when you are downloading, you can't download you own files larger than 300MB without client, it's just ridiculous)
Baidu+360:
>hey we'll let you preview your files if you enjoy the stutter, your choice, but we do offer the preview
>hey we offer so much space but good luck uploading/using it
>>
>>58058615
You'll have to flash the official Global Beta, request a bootloader unlock (plenty of tutorials out there) and then flash Xiaomi.eu following their instructions.

Also, mini review while I'm at it
>much better screen than my nexus, colors look great, display looks sharper, much brighter too
>GPS is much quicker. Shame about no gyroscope but it gets the job done pretty good. One of the best mobile gps I've tried.
>love the weight in my hand and pocket. Very reassuring and solid
>can be used with one hand still, just not as easily as my nexus 4
>I love that despite being on the back, the speaker is on the back part that curves up just a tiny bit, so putting it on a desk actually amplifies it a little instead of muffling it
>very smooth, no lags so far.
>camera is roughly on par with the nexus 4 as far as I can tell. It's really not that great, but I don't take many photos so it's not an issue.

So far this is really the perfect phone for me as far as I can tell. A lot of people won't like it because of the SoC, size, and weight, but it's good for my use.

If you have any questions about the phone fell free to ask while I'm here (:

>>58058655
Here's brightness. I'll turn it down when I turn my lights off though. But for now I'm enjoying being able to use my phone with brightness turned up and not having to worry about battery running out in a couple of hours.

I ordered my Redmi 4 Prime from that exact store. I also thought it was an Official Xiaomi store. Who knows, maybe it is.

My Redmi 4 Prime came with a custom ROM, debloated of Chinese apps and Chinese letters.

However, I paid the extra $10 for DHL shipping and it came within a week. If I'm going to spend $160 on something, I don't mind paying an extra $10 to make sure it arrives.

Try calling the postage company that handled delivery after the package arrived in netherlands and ask them what's up, or check their tracking site. At least my local post's tracking has more details than the aliexpress / 17track one, shows exactly which post office the package was delivered and even has the name of the person who picked it up.

They might have given you someone elses tracking code, it happened to me once. Package arrived to my country just fine but I realised something was wrong when the package was transported to a completely different city from where I lived. A few days later tracking was saying that the package was already picked up at the post office and using the local post's tracking site I could see the guys name who picked it up. Messaged the ali seller and he straight up said they accidentally gave me the wrong tracking code. My order did come later so didn't get chinked.

Posted one with pictures and video but received points only for the written part, even though the pictures are visible in my review.

>>
>>58059696
Ask the seller/support, they usually do this because everything else you bought is in stock except for that one item so they ship it out instead of waiting for that one item to arrive and hold everything up. So the cable will get shipped later.
>>
>>58059744
It can take anywhere from a few hours to a week for them to approve the photos and video and give you the points. Also the rules changed as now the amount of points they give depends on the price of the item, no more getting $1.40 worth of points from a $0.10 item.

The ground terminal is for connecting to mains earth so you don't get a shock from the metal case if it becomes live, it may also be required for input filtering.

The ADJ is for adjusting the output voltage, the unit is set for 5v but the adjustment is for fine tuning if you have long wires going to the load where voltage drop may be a problem.

I've ordered 7.1 external card because i have 9 speakers and only 2 connectors on my 4years old pc + it upgrades pretty much every microphone because it gives more power than build-in sound cards.

I mean for 18$ It is not that big of waste money even if you do not really NEED it. +it gives diginal sound connection to old computers [i think is is called s-pdif]

Wondering if anyone having Sim issues on their rn3p.
Sometimes overnight the phone takes with it 15-20 percent worth of battery life and is warm to the touch. I'm pretty sure this is a Sim card/network problem as the battery is normal when on airplane mode. I've tried using a new Sim card but it still needs me to jiggle it around once in a while. Post some pictures taken with the front camera of the K6000 Pro. I've read a bit about this phone and quite a few apparently call it "useless". Just curious if that is true. I know some phones have bad front cameras, what I read is that the front one on the K6000 Pro is so bad it's basically like it doesn't have one.

Yeah I thought my new Sim card would fix it, and it did for a while (<1 week) then started up again. Also tried padding the sim tray with bits of paper so there isn't any potential wiggle space for the card to go flying around. Last option now would be to change roms. No experience backing up and restoring data between different roms tho, would titanium backup work?

Given my growing paranoia, i am looking into getting a very simple camera for my front window. Something that can be connected to my wif iand viewed from a computer on my LAN. I do not care about viewing it when out. Given that 90+% chinese cameras are botnetted, what is the safest, cheapest way to do this? I am thinking about a Pi with a camera but i want to know if there are other ways.

so i'm waiting for something i bought from aliexpress to actually get on the plane to the US - i understand that there is a wait before everything is loaded on the plane and flown out to the states.

my concern is that it's been 17 days since it was shipped to the carrier from the seller, and aliexpress says that the order will be closed in 7 days. does this mean that i will get my money back at the end of the 7 days, or is it saying that my buyer protection will end by this period?

Hey, Just wondering if there's anything obvious I'm missing for a basic electronics tinkering kit.

Pretend I have nothing, I do have some stuff but not very much really (have already played with the ESP8266 some, but primarily in software).

Also if there's any good (cheap and 'ok') soldering iron recomendations I'd love to hear them. I'm working with literally 30-40 year old equipment mainly.

get a fake dw or nomos so you can brag to your friends that you own a $2000 watch
>>
>>58066062
Anon that's bullshit. Panama papers sure prove that.
>b-but they got caught
Yeah? And they're gonna remain free, rich and powerful. At the very least most of them. Some of them have simply come out ahead, and reveals have only slightly hindered their progress.

Same goes for any non-moron crime. And frankly anon fits the category, even if it's a very simple crime.
>>
>>58066722
google says "hooza" isn't even a real brand

I'd go with the Triwa, unless you like Nomos or DW
>>

>And frankly anon fits the category, even if it's a very simple crime.

It's petty crime which puts anon in the 80-90 IQ range.
>>
>>58066777
I already have the black and white fake nomos but if someone ask me I wouldnt say they are real. And normies wouldnt know if these brands are good, they only know swatch, gshock or casio.

Very little.
You're literally stealing from poor people though. And I guess if you keep doing this in ways where you can be identified between purchase instances there's a small risk of them catching you and doing literally nothing to you except letting you order stuff anymore.

I'm guessing you have at least very basic components like resistors, caps, transistors, and leds.

You're missing a power supply.
If you only want to basic microcontroller stuff one of those Breadboard power supplies that just put out 5 and 3.3V could be enough.
But an adjustable one is very useful (chink adjustable DC-DC module together with an old PSU or laptop power brick would be the cheap option)

Also, you probably want a breadboard (+ jumper wires) for experimenting and getting a circuit right before you solder it.

And don't get the ESP-01 if you want to use it without an extra mcu, get the ESP-12 (with adapter plate) instead.

I'd also get an USB-TTL adapter that breaks out more of the pins, they don't cost much more and are much more useful for flashing chips. I got a few of those: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-shipping-1pcs-FT232RL-FTDI-USB-3-3V-5-5V-to-TTL-Serial-Adapter-Module-for/32256920717.html

Oh and add some RGB LEDs - always fun and cost almost nothing (50 pieces are about 2$).
