For all the anons wondering why the hate for non-Xiaomi chinkphones (especially ZUK, which is currently being shilled hard) and our recommendations against them, that's mainly because Google and all their services are blocked in mainland China. This means that OEMs don't give a fuck about any Google guideline and butcher the Android "base" (AOSP) in ways it's not supposed to be in order to "diferentiate" themselves creating all kind of problems and incompatibility/stability issues. For all of them version ugprades, monthly security patches, compatibility with western apps and something as basic as having no malware OOTB is, at best, an afterthought. The only one that cares a little bit is Xiaomi, keeping most of their phones regularly updated, with the latest Google security patch level and with newer OS features backported to phones stuck on 4.4 or 5.1.

Besides, getting a Xiaomi means you can flash a Xiaomi.eu ROM which is MIUI optimized for western tastes and without most of its crap and bloat. Also, for some of them there's official CM support if you don't like MIUI. Getting a Xiaomi means you'll at least get some kind of support either first or third party. Any other piece of crap? You're SOL.

flash them using TWRP recovery just like you flashed the rom, and they should fix your problems (if you have any)
