Never mind the fact that Elliot's hard drive filled with cp and an anonymous tip wouldn't really fly in court. No matter how clean he was he's actually fucking himself harder than the owner.

His drug addiction was shoehorned into the story for no reason because his character was beyond boring.

I more or less agree. I think season 1 remains a fantastic self contained idea, but I would almost have preferred that it stopped there.

The second season was shit
There was some good stuff but nothing really happened, it was filled with fodder such as Elliot being locked up for half the season and you have to endure all the bullshit "I don't wanna hax but I do!".
Also the ending (of the 2nd season) is shit too, it's fucking boring as hell and nothing interesting happens, only <SPOILER> Angela and White Rose meeting </SPOILER

The ending of the book is better, but it seems to me like youre the kind of guy who likes action movies full of explosions, right?

On the other hand, the plot twist in season 2 is also quite the ripoff from the ending in the book
