Its a quite cheaper, but it has smaller screen, no edges, worse camera and much worse battery.

I'm not really looking for alternative to mi note 2, I'm more curious if buying "flagship" china phones is good idea in general. Its no big deal if 150$ phone breaks in a year, but are more expensive china phones just as good as traditional phones?

There's no tempered glass screen protectors that fit properly. Even the plastic film ones peel at the edges.
The screen scratches really easily too.
