n00b overclocking question... is it better to crank up the BCLK or the CPU multiplier?
what actual chip on the motherboard controls BCLK and the multiplier?

try /diy/

>BCLK
overclocks every other component, not good
>CPU multiplier
only overclocks the CPU, go with that.

Shit nigger that how overclocking used to work before jewtel decided to lock everything down and fleece you young cunts
Perfectly fine to go with whichever method gives you best results.

if you have an unlocked cpu, use the cpu multiplier first. Increase the multiplier until it becomes unstable while stress testing, then lower it 2 steps and increase the bus speed or core volt ( not at the same time ) until it becomes unstable during stress testing. Repeat with in the same fashion for the other cpu settings.
If you have a locked cpu, use the BCLK method.
