I am a software developer. Based on the tasks my scrum master has been assigning to us, I personally do not think we will meet the deadline (~6-9 months from now) with the capabilities that we are required to deliver.

I'm making a basic little GUI program that draws an array of different interactive modules to a Windows form using form paint (this is c#). I'd like for the user to be able to open and close these modules at will but because they're made from unique classes I don't have any way of keeping track of them all. I want to be able to loop through them and display them simultaneously. They each have a "display" method and as it stands now I'm calling these methods manually line by line in the form paint section of the main program.

I tried solving the problem by having an array of another type of object that takes the graphic information from each of these individual modules and draws it, then changing the "display" function in each of the different modules to draw the information to an image which is then passed to this object. However the code that updates the graphic information is in the individual display functions of these modules so I still have to call them myself, defeating the purpose.

In short I'm trying to figure out how to display various components of a graphic interface, which are constructed from objects from various unique classes, while allowing the user to add and remove them at will. Again I'm a noob and the program is in its very early stages so I appreciate and will try anything you suggest

As you can see, these will categorise images by type/purpose, then by source.

However, if I wish to find all the ones that are humorous, I can't just go to a folder or group by an attribute. I need to have a searchable tagging system, so that I can search, for example, "humour" and it will return all the humorous images there.

Now I could go about naming all the files with descriptive names so that searching is viable:

After few months, the time has come again. First Mozilla and now Chrome, both browsers became slow and buggy. After reinstalling and trying to save mozilla it died completely, displaying pages as if it ignored CSS, just bunch of text in a column. I overcame my hate for chrome and hoped for the best, but it became slow and glitchy quite quick. I'm cleaning my registry and cookies reqularly. I have the babby Zotac 1060 6GB. It works well but the only problem is that due to the smaller heat sink and only one fan it can get pretty hot pretty quickly. Using MSI Afterburner I customized the fan speed to be a bit higher and it runs at decent temps now. I haven't risked overclocking for that reason too.

The noise from the fan isn't all that noticeable unless its running at max speed, but I wear headphones so I never notice.

What are you upgrading from? If you're willing to save money I'd say you should get a full size, more powerful card. I was just impatient when I got mine. I don't regret it, but it isn't optimal

1. What's /g/ opinion on driver pack solution?
Is it recommended? since the drivers needed no longer available on the manufactures site, or to keep around for repairs? Since I can get an ISO of ~14 GB of drivers?

2. What's better to have multiple USB flash drive with single distro, Or Single USB flash drive with multiple ISOs?

3. Is there a way to make windows system recover tool available on a USB flash drive?

Hover zoom on 4chan webm's has recently stopped working and I have no idea why. Appchan's built in hover zoom doesn't work, Hoverzoom+ doesn't work anymore. Even clicking on the webm doesn't work, I have to open the webm in a new tab for it to play.

Why might this be? I'm using Chrome.

Otherwise, maybe run vnc server on pc and use realvnc viewer on android?

I have literally never looked into building my own computer before and have always been a laptopcuck. I know NOTHING about how to do it, but I have enough money to invest into a new computer.

The only thing I know is logicalincrements and how everything in a tier works together but anything about how shit works or fits together or whats the difference between one piece of hardware or another. If I buy pic related is that all I need to buy to plug it in and use it, (other than a copy of windows I guess)?

Is it a bad idea to run a computer, monitors, and sound system on an uninterruptable power supply if I don't have it grounded for the surge protection to work?

nothing wrong with that build, it all comes down to your needs. as a gaming pc, there are some improvements to be made, but for a day to day workhorse it'd do perfectly fine, though the gpu would be overkill for an office pc.

Thinking of selling my computer parts (x980 and r9 290) + yoga 2 pro laptop for this to replace both. I'll even put the old desktop SSD into the laptop.

Wouldn't normally consider a gay men laptop because muh portability as student but these are reportedly much thinner now and at 15 inches it would just be like carrying around a P50 or other workstation which should be fine.

Unfortunately, this means the two cannot work together unless you install both UEFI and MBR boot partitions.

1- With a system of an i5 2500k, 8 GB DDR3 RAM, is there any significant difference between a GTX 1060 and a RX480. (No plans to upgrade other parts for at least a year)
