How do you guys clean your glasses ?
>glasses
>technology
>>57443299
First time in a long while I laughed at a picture like that.
>>57443324
You nerds sitting in front of your computer all day surely all wear glasses.
with the shitty cloth it came with
>>57443396
This. The cloth the case came with is good enough.
My wife's son does it for me
Microfiber cloth or my shirt.
I don't wear glasses?
But if I did..
>the Mikrofiber cloth it came with, when there's a smudge or something
>with distilled water for thorough cleaning without damaging any coatings
Normally just the cloth but once a month I'll use isopropyl alcohol with a separate cloth
>>57443267
sink, breath, and tissues
Those little glasses-wipe things are great. They're like mini baby wipes.
Nothing worse than squinting past greasy fingerprints and bits of dust.
If I did I would wipe them on my shirt or with my bedsheets.
Water and toilet paper like any sane person.
Warm water and soap
>>57443546
>toilet paper
What the fuck are you thinking?
>>57443299
I kek'd
>>57443267
>Having shit eyesight
>>57443546
The fuck is wrong with you?
>>57443267
microfiber cloth
>>57443546
If this means being a "sane" person I don't want to be sane.

I actually use liquid soap and my fingers.
I spread peanut butter on it and then wipe it off with my eyes
>>57443787
hahahahhaaaa
>>57443737
that bullshit doesn't work
>>57443828
try washing your car dry instead with a wet cloth.
it's like dry fucking.
Methanol and and chimcloth.
>>57443267
Use the thing that came with your glasses and case
>>57443787
But what do you do with the jelly?
I have special piece of tissue for this
Washing with standard washing up liquid you use for your dishes (your dishes and glass tumblers don't get scratches do they?) then rinsing and drying with a clean 100% cotton T shirt is best.
Hot water and a clean towel. Whatever "glasses wipes" only make it worse
>>57443267
Usually my shirt
if I have it to hand, the little cloth it comes with
With the cloth they come with. Sometimes, if they're particularly bad, I use some dis soap and water to get them crystal clear.
Usually I grab paper towels
If you wear glasses, then you're an eye-let. Please do not reproduce with your inferior genetics
>>57443531
Cheap as hell too. Use two a day.
Steam from a cup of tea works well too, with microfiber
>>57444242
>Going to 4chan and wanting to reproduce in the first place
Normalfags, get the fuck out, especially you.
>>57443299
top lel
I just pull my underpants out my trousers and give them a wipe on there.
They have lens cleaner wipes at work so I usually take some of those
I wear air-conducting contacts that don't require cleaning and don't need to be removed for 4+ weeks.
>>57443737
You only really need the last step
I use the IPA wipes on top of the first aid stations to clean my safety glasses.
>>57443396
>Only do this until you get to the store and buy
>some individually wrapped alcohol wipes.
>Can't count how many pairs of glasses I
>ruined before switching to the wipes.
Eyeglass cleaner + paper towels.
>>57443324
Glasses are a simple technology, like screws or ramps. Not everything has to be motherboards and batteries, you know.
>>57443396
>>57443481
>>57443438
Have fun destroying your lenses, nerd.
>>57443546
>>57443961
Bend over and I'll show you.
>>57443775
2nd... Blast it with water first to remove any particles that might scratch them
How did you know i wear glasses? What is this kind of sorcery?
Go to the store that sold you the glasses and buy their cleaning accessories a specialized thick cloth and gel lens cleaner spray that contains isopropanol. Anything else is amateur hour.
>>57443963
nice try.
>>57443267
windex + chamois
Ive probably been wearing glasses for longer than most 4chan browsers have been alive - ive concluded that no matter your method you will in the long run default to wiping them on your shirt.
>>57447805
this
>>57443559
regular soap tends to leave a lipid monolayer -- Dawn dish soap tends to remove all typical oil and leave no resideu
>>57443737
I do this 90% of the time, the other 10% I just use some spray and a microfiber
>>57443299
KEK WILLS IT
Test
>>57443342
>You nerds sitting in front of your computer all day surely all wear glasses.
we also eat food, wear clothes, etc...
just because nerds do it doesn't mean it belongs on /g/. don't make arguments like this. they make you look stupid.
>>57443267
Hot water.
>>57443267
salty coin and bags of milk sand
>>57443546
>toilet paper for everything
I can relate to that.
it's just convenient and easy to get
>>57443267
with my own shirt because i'm not a faggot
My shirt
>>57443342
I do but I'm nearsighted. I only really wear them to see the TV better from the couch or to see the board in class.
>>57443546
I did this and now my lenses are scratched all over. Getting new glasses soon.
my underwear, its soft and perfect for the job
breath + proper tissue for glasses.
Cleaning with a shirt goes nowhere, still greasy.
Cleaned with toilet paper for years and previous glasses were all scratched up.
I have to clean every 2 hours because my face is kinda oily and when I adjust my glasses sometimes the lens touch my forehead.
>>57443267
>tfw going blind because I've used small fonts for years
You should probably clean those nose pad things too, they can get pretty disgusting. Use a toothbrush and some handsoap to clean them.
I wash it under a sink, and wipe it off with a tissue or clean underwear.
>>57443267
Rinse under faucet
Rub dishwashing liquid and soapy water onto lenses and frames to get rid of grease and oils
Rinse
Wipe down with clean microfiber
Using your shirt or whatever fabric you can find is a good way to fuck them up, especially if you've got antiglare coatings and shit
>>57443267
soap and water in a sink. if you don't do this, you've been cucked
The inside of a t-shirt is better for cleaning glasses than a microfiber cloth
Microfiber cloth in most situations
Soft piece of cloth otherwise
>>57449939
No it isn't. Microfiber objectively removes more contaminants and water than any other fabric. Read up on it before you make anymore silly claims.
>>57446842
>destroying your lenses
Doesnt happen with actual quality glasses, anon.
I'm 31 and don't need glasses yet
>>57443267
soap and hot water, then blot the water drops off with clean toilet paper to prevent grease spots
>>57443546
you guys laugh but this guy is correct, i've done the same for years you don't rub with the toilet paper though you just blot the droplets off after
tp or my sleeve
soap when necessary
when I take a bath or washing face, use a soap and rinse that's all.
>>57443267
>the feel when you dont have glasses
>>57450940
must be nice being young
M-my mother told me to use vinegar, for some reason.
Target sells these fantastic lens wipes. It's like $4 for the box and it lasts about 2-3 months.
soapy water
>>57443267
Simple
I don't wear glasses
I got this cleaning cloth when I was going to do a job with a company called tidy. It's polyamide and I believe polyester, got a ton of them and it pulls everything off with a new rubs. Works well on every piece of glass including my phone screen
t-shirt, just got new glasses so I try to use the microfiber cloth if I can
Corners are alway greasy cuz of my eyebrows, it's pretty annoying
>>57443267
Shirt, sometimes with a cleaner and microfiber
>>57447805
I tuck in my shirt
>>57449750
I use silicone pads
They get hard and nasty after a year so I just get them changed out for free
>>57443267
With my breath and shirt
