yeah but whenever i click play dwarf fortress on LNP dwarf therapist runs and says no running instances.
No instance actually runs on clicking it.
Also, i would like a better graphic set and quickfort mod or something

You have to have DF running first then tell Therapist to connect to the game at the top of the window.

you mean how to use the rapist or how to get it working on Linux?

there is a linux version of it and really all it does is help with managing professions/jobs since that's the only thing that is really annoying to do in the game UI imo

i downloaded the SDL version..they say wine lags, but i got a 3.2ghz i5 with 8 gb ram ...so i guess it shouldnt, and i've failed earlier at compiling wine programs, so, if you say vine, you gotta give me the tutorial for it.

therapist doesn't change the core game experience at all or make you "miss" anything.

when you have over 100 dwarves managing their jobs through the jobs UI is just shit.

im a beginner and i though mods like quickfort and stuff might help..

ive gotten to that start though, set up a fort, no raids yet though and i'm lacking dwarves with particular skills to build anything more.
