I did it with a Power Mac G5, you're gonna need a method of installing new standoffs in the case because the motherboard is a proprietary monstrosity.

Then, once you get it installed, you'll need to find/make an adapter for the I/O plate and cut out a section of the back.

If it's done to a dead machine and done properly I think it's a neat way to give a classic design new life.

I wouldn't sacrifice a perfectly functional machine though, and it's really easy to completely fuck up the way the end result looks.

The red highlighting really doesn't do it any good, and the new Lenovo logo just looks awful. One thing I will give it is the detail put into the second 5.25'' bay blank which gives me some oldschool AS/400 vibes, but that huge plastic wasteland below just looks awful. Where's the external 3.5'' bays? At least give me a card reader.
