First thing Linus did with that original MacBook Air was put Fedora on it so, fuck you, OP, he doesn't use the native OS they come with.

The only reason he got one - as he's stated for many years now - is because it was small, offered great performance at the time, practically silent, very portable, and had better battery life than competing hardware at that time.

Same reason he got the Pixel when it came out, basically, and wiped it and put Fedora on that too.
