That windows feature actually works because of a huge fucking security vulnerability where lots of legacy windows explorer code is still tied to internet explorer.

In older windows versions, you could literally type in a URL in explorer and the window would become an IE window.

-gallery mode for threads, click a button and you can go through all the images/webms in a thread just by using left/right arrows
-expand images/webms in-line, constrain to browser height/width
-better catalog with searching/sorting
-convert text like cnn.com to links automatically
-reveal webm metadata
-auto-redirect to archives (if available)
