I actually live in a very safe place with a very low crime rate. To me, carrying a gun is no different than putting my phone in my pocket before leaving the house.
Chances are I'll most likely never need it. But if on the off chance I ever will need it, I'll be damn glad I have it.

Found off Craigslist for like $30 because why not. Didn't have that file sharing problem though but there are a couple annoyances (Wake-On-Tap was annoying) they are removable. It's pretty helpful when it comes to notes and reading books for uni and such while on the shitter.

It's fast enough to render the pages before scrolling down so I'm never waiting on buffers during text reads (unless jumping pages of course) and that's good for me.

One time I actually looked at the stats that everybody always cites, and one thing that always bothers me is when comparisons are made between [EU country] and USA. You simply can not do that as a matter of intellectual honesty, you have to take the entire EU and the entire USA and then compare, or compare comparable EU states with US states.

The numbers end up being very similar, the only difference being rate of gun ownerships, and since different states do different statistics, it is hard to find a murder rate/death rate by a method. What you end up with is very similar murder rates with a incredible difference in gun ownership between the US and EU, which left me shocked why isn't our aggregate murder rate lower than the US, when we have less weapons.

Conceal carried a gun since I was 16 or so, still do. Carry it Mexican style. No permit, no Constitutional carry. Never got caught.
