>>57114824

>>57114750
>proprietary software

>>57114750
MOAR
>>57114935
Ardour is hot garbage.
>>57114750
Fuck off >>>/mu/
>>57114997
/mu/ doesn't know shit about audio production, and discussing audio workstation software is pretty /g/.
>>57115037
>doesn't know shit about audio production
They do. /g/ isn't interested in your mixtapes
>>>/mu/
>>57115058
No, they don't. We're not talking about mixtapes. We had a lively, intelligent discussion about DAWs last week and the thread was up for days. Fuck off back to /mu/ if you like it so much.
>>57114750
I use Caboose.
>>57115093
>>>/mu/68502567
I think this is the thread you're looking for :^)
>>57115058
I think he wants the thread on /g/ so he can talk about the DAW he never even uses because he can't make music and just has installed.
>>57115104
I would rather explode than go to /mu/. Talking about the specifics of software is not the same as talking about songwriting and circle-jerking about soundclowns.
>>57114750
switched from to Cubase to Studio One few months ago. I still think Cubase is the best for MIDI editing.
>>57114750
That's a man's ass.
>>57115434
I was fully aware of that and I still jacked off to it. Men can have good-looking asses, too.
>>57115434
so what?
>>57114750
Hiphop fag
I love my APCs but if i wanted to make midi sound legit id go with cubase or maybe even reason, there would be no other reason to switch and thats just from a production standpoint.
I use Cubase and it works.
Using qtractor, its bretty good.
>>57114935
I want to use Ardour, but what would be the point of using it on Linux (my only option since there's no stable windows release) when I heard most hardware don't even have Linux support
Pro Tools master race.
>>57114750
fl studio is a meme daw but its the best out of all the daws ive tired
any command line audio tools for linux? only one I could find is cursynth.
cubase has been the best for many many years, pro tools etc. are all shilled
