Why the fuck does colors look better on my old CRT monitor than on my LED TV? Not to mention that I don't have to worry about viewing angles at all.
Albeit it looks blurry, but that's a small price to pay for this graphical quality. I've been using it to watch videos more than anything else.
Post your autism and how it is better than current alternatives.
Go ahead and get yourself the "best" CRT monitor out there, and compare it to an 8K 240 hz display you dip-shit

>Why the fuck does colors look better on my old CRT monitor than on my LED TV?
Because we didn't move to LCD for the better picture quality, it was because they're lighter and more compact which means cheaper to ship.

because your led tv a shit?
my 60 inch sony led has great colors. and my 27 inch ips monitor has far better colors than my trinitron i play old vidya games on

CRTs generally have better gamut than LCDs since they can actually separate their color channels properly.
The contrast ratios for LCDs only apply on large scale features, and substantial light leakage between adjacent subpixels limits maximum saturation.

>compare it to an 8K 240 hz
meme technology. give me a decent crt any day, fashion boy.
>tfw just got my grandma's old 4:3 lcd monitor
It's so damn comfy

>he bought a TN """LED""" TV
Get the fuck out of here, idiot
I'm surprised nobody mentioned the one advantage CRT has over LCD or even OLED, which is multi-resolution support. Use an LCD or OLED monitor at anything other than native resolution and it comes out a blurry mess. Due to the analog nature of CRT monitors you get a sharp image as long as the resolution's at or below dot pitch.

>Every time it's CRT
>Threads never mentions TFT
Is the TFT monitor an urban myth or something?

Hey, it's >>57078237
here
Turns out the moniter is a 15" dell tft lcd display
if you make that feel better
Where can I get some old CRT monitors to get that laindad setup?
>>57076785
"LED TV" is just marketing speak for "LED-backlit LCD TV"
an LED TV can be just as shit quality-wise as older CCFL-backlit LCD TV's
>>57078796
Not sure if you're actually ignorant or baiting, since I'm not sure how clear google is on the topic, but I don't believe that there has ever been a liquid crystal display (LCD) on the market that wasn't a thin film transistor (TFT) design.

CRTs also don't have that sample-and-hold blur.
