Why do people prefer Firefox over Google Chrome? What makes it better?
>>56997763
not a botnet
more customization
I can change the appearance of firefox
>>56997776
False and false.
>>56997797
I can do the same thing in chrome though
>>56997834

A wide variety of addons and user scripts

>>56997763

>>56997763
Because cuckolds of /g/ think that Google cares of what some random inbred faggot does on the internet.
For me
>pdf.js no adobe pdf render
>ability to tune caching settings in about:config
>in browser ip address blacklisting
>replace website css
>grease monkey to re-draw sites
>no script
>ublock origin which actually blocks google ads

>>56998002
>pdf.js no adobe pdf render
Chrom* can display pdfs too
>ability to tune caching settings in about:config
Don't think you can do it in Chrom*
>in browser ip address blacklisting
What's that for? Use hosts file or custom filter for uBlock Origin
>replace website css
Stylish or Tampermonkey
>grease monkey to re-draw sites
Tampermonkey
>no script
uMatrix is better and available for Chrom*
>ublock origin which actually blocks google ads
uBlock Origin is available for Chrom*
So again... Why are you using a slower and less secure browser?

>android
Wtf else is out there for this guy? iphone? Windows ffs??? Do people like this actively not use smart phones
>>56998294
He's probably so autistic that he only uses computers, and still uses a dumbphone for anything phone related
>>56997799
OK son, give me tree style tabs for chrome
Lightbeam, noscript, adblock plus
Chrome tracks everything you do, it's what Google does as a company. They then sell your information etc if you use Google products like Gmail + Chrome (+ ???), Google has a profile on you more detailed than the NSA or FBI could ever manage unless you were selected for active investigation
>>56997844
Like this :
>>56998277
Firebug, real themes, muh config.
>>56998100
It's cheaper and safer anyway.
>>56998294
>Do people like this actively not use smart phones

>>56997776
>botnet

Chromium is a piece of trash and is botnet. So, no thanks.
So how can I multitab on chrome without all tabs getting crammed in the tabbar? That's why I only use Chrome for Facebook and yt, which are fucking laggy on FF.
Since e10 is shit I moved to chrome for good

smn.dmn
I use Firefox because I need the extension rikaisama. The chrome alternative is shit
How to tell immediately if you're talking to a pathetic, semi-retarded wanker:
1. Says "cuck" or variant.
2. Says "kek" or variant.
3. Says "normies" or variant.

>moSJWilla is cool

>>57000176
hello there arin
>>56997763
>Fixed width tabs
>scrollable tab bar
>>56997763
For a billion of reasons that are all wrong. Over raw Chrome/ium though, Firefox has a customizable/scriptable UI ("better extensions"), lower memory usage in a single process, a wider range of options by default (about:config or whatever it was), and a questionable commitment to privacy (to my knowledge not backed up by any major differences in capabilities or code, more of a philosophical thing). Otherwise it's absolute dogshit in most other categories, especially on mobile.
>>56997763
A long term service branch.
>>56997763
FF seems more friendly
>>56998309
why would anyone go out of there way to use a smartphone instead of an actual computer?
It's comfy :3
I use Firefox only for my 4chan browsing.
