When will it finally become fast again? ;___;
Never.
They don't focus on that anymore, they only care about social issues.

have you tried e10s yet
>>56965922

still it craps out when loading >>>/g/catalog

works on my machine

Can't even make it work with ublock origin and umatrix
>Firefox not slow
These tests were done on a Skylake Xeon, 16GB of RAM and a PCI-Express SSD. e10s enabled and dom.ipc.processCount set to 50. Now tell me Firefox isn't slow:

Don't blame Firefox for the general shittery of the modern Internet.
It's not innocent, but hardly the sole reason for the sluggishness of the web.

Nobody cares about your tests. Stop spamming them.
>Multi-process browser is faster at loading multiple sites at once than a single-process browser
>What a surprise!

Freetards on suicide watch.
Doesn't seem slow to me.
>>56966461
Open the same group of 30 tabs in each browser would be too simple I guess.
>>56965891
Firefox is fine for me? I'm on Nightly, though.
>>56965891
It's a windows problem
>>56965891
I noticed that on both Windows and my Linux partition. Hell even on my android it seems so much slower. Sight is image heavy? Have fun staring at grey boxes for 20 seconds while it loads. As much as I hate to go on about Chrome, at least they managed to make a quick browser. Sucks it's straight botnet and eats ram like your mom does cock. (A lot)
Install Chromium
>>56965963
have you tried disabling e10s
Servo when?
>>56965891
I dont know why i had the problem but i thought it was my old gpu
Win7 and sjwfox twitch was lag as fuck
Same laptop Win10 plus chrome twich buttery smooth 60fps
Dont know what fixed it
Never going back

or just "freetards" have better memory than a goldfish.
>>56966507
SJWfox is a joke, they'll be dead along with yahoo soon enough
I use a 1 mbit/s internet connection
I doubt the bottleneck is firefox
>>56965891
When Servo is implemented. It'll hardly be Firefox then though.
>>56965891
When you switch to Chromium or Opera.
Anyone else noticed it's improved very recently? Talking about on Windows.
I had to stop using it about 2 years ago, the lag was just unbearable. I don't mean with rendering pages, I mean the interface, switching tabs, scrolling, right clicking. Anyway, I jumped to IE, then Chrome, Opera, Chrome again, and Opera again now.
But every once in a while I update Firefox and check to see if it's better yet. Every time up until now it's still been horribly laggy, but today, version 49.0.1, it seems bretty decent. Am I just imagining things?
>>56965891
It's not that it's slow, it's just dogshit compared to chrome
>>56965891
fast for me on debian, but then again im no poorfag
>>56966461
>Firefox slow
>Proceeds to load all tabs
This is where Firefox shines. It doesn't HAVE to load all tabs when it opens. Try the same test selecting the option with load tabs on demand enabled in Firefox. Better yet, try it with 500 tabs open. Then compare with Chrome. Watch as Chrome shits itself with 500 tabs.

dont link to dangerous pages anon
