Asking again for more opinions.

Looking to buy a good phone/tablet to play weeb games in and was considering buying the 2016 version of the HD8. Are these tablets worth buying?.
Here's some of the specs that I found while searching forums about this.

I was also considering the BLU R1 HD but I'd have to find a friend that has Amazon prime and will let me use it to order the phone. Which one is better out of these two? And any other good options worth considering for under $100? Preferably in the amazon store so I can purchase with amazon credit.

Hello faggots. My ZUK Z2 arrived today. It doesn't feel like a cheap phone tho. The buttons don't wobble, screen brightness is satisfying and it's much more responsive than my old m7... It's great hardware except ZUI so I'm flashing RR rn.
Speakers are loader than my m7 but are kinda hollow ~ still not as bad as my Xperia m2. Audio output through the jack is fine.
The home button is preddy cool. Swipe up to go back swipe left or left to switch through the application history. Doppelclick shows the classic app history screen with previews. Easy shit tho.

Shit was super easy. Zuk forum instructions makes adb usage fool proof tho. Glad to have a clean rom.
With RR you can't switch through the apps anymore. The touch thibgy only acts as a back button. Double click is still opening the recent apps switcher thing.

Exynos I'm pretty sure. I'm in the UK and I think that was the only version we got. I don't mean to be a bummer dude but this is just what I experienced. I actually smashed my screen but sold it instead of getting it fixed because of the performance issues. GUYS I BOUGHT A ONEPLUS 3 AND HOLY FUCK

After being stuck with a Xiaomi Redmi 2 for a year and a half i feel liberated.

Oxygen OS is so fast, buttery and snappy that i feel like i'm fingering Chloe Moretz.

My HTC One M8 just died a violent death. Insurance has me covered for a replacement but it's time for an upgrade anyway. I need a new phone by MONDAY, so no time to wait for the Ultimax Alpha S27 or whatever.


I've got it down to two very different options right now:

OnePlus 3, from US-based Ebay vendor with expedited shipping:
Pros:
-I REALLY like the rapid charging.
-I like the mostly-default Android, and the few modifications look beneficial.
-I like the headphone jack.
Cons:
-Not a phablet fan.
-Not a performance leader (but to be fair, its not far behind the larger name flagships).
-NO INSURANCE. That's a big deal, I like naked phones.
-Going to way-overpay. It's $90 more than it is from the OnePlus site, and that's before shipping.

iPhone 7 32GB:
Pros:
-Been using a Hackintosh at home, good feature integration.
-Better suited to one-hand operation.
-Performance is killer.
-I would make use of certain iOS-only audio processing apps (guitar related).
Cons:
-Pricey.
-Headphone jack situation is ridiculous.
-All you queers will call me a queer.


The OP3 from Ebay would be $489, plus $20 overnight shipped (which doesn't even guarantee a before-Monday delivery). The phone will be uninsured which is brutal. It will force me to use a case and I despise cases. I like my phones sexy and naked.

The iPhone I could have tomorrow, it's in stock at my local carrier stores. It would be $650 plus tax (I'm already paying for insurance). Also I can do no-interest payments through the carrier, but I'll probably put down at least $400 up front anyway. Don't need larger storage capacity as my M8 is 2 years old and only at 25GB.

It's about 5 mm taller and 2 mm broader than the m7 while having smaller bezels - a bigger screen. Experience is great so far. This shithole doesn't have LTE but all important bands for Germany are covered. Didn't have no connection. Audio output is great and the equalizer of Resurrection Remix is fucking great tho.

Considering the prices of all these Android flagships, a $650 128GB 6s is looking like the best bang for buck option aside from the OP3. Kind of crazy that Google has let Android turn into a mess. Seriously, the V20 is great but at $830? Come the fuck on LG. It's not that great. Note 7s still blowing up. I was going to wait for the European re-release of the note 7 (end of this month), but fuck it now with all these battery issues. So do any of you think the s7 edge is worth an extra 80$ over the basic s7? It's only 650$ here (32gb iPhone 7+ is 900$), and I'm thinking it might be worth it for the larger screen and battery. However I heard the edge is annoying as fuck to hold. Any recommendations? (I want an excellent camera btw, otherwise I'd obviously consider another phone)

If you're looking for the cheapest Blackberry product, then the Passport or the recently discontinued Classic would be your best bets. Cheapest Android Blackberry, DTEK50, really not bad considering you still get MicroSD and monthly security updates (aside from Google, Blackberry is the only company that does this for their devices). From what it seems like, you want a phone that works, that can handle your daily tasks, and likes a decent camera. It doesn't look like you need top of the line, which is fine. Get something that people regard as midtier. It's not an insult at all and it avoids having to pay $1000+ for a phone that'll just be way too high spec for you anyways.

a few days back, my droid razr maxx HD (running android 4.4.2... kitkat methinks?) gave me an odd message when i went to text a picture+msg... it said something like it can't send the message until i enable mobile data (with some 3 letter acronym of sorts) and i was pretty much "huh?" because i was 4GLTE + mobile data working fine via the radio or wifi.... and then the recipient of those texts actually got them.

like the idiot that i am, i instinctively rebooted the phone (figuring some stupid 1-time-glitch would fuck off) and while trying to re-send the text i was pulled out of the texting process/app/whatever and dropped into some sort of a (browser?) ad that was like THROW THE DART AT THE DARTBOARD AND WIN UP TO $500.... wtf?

then i noticed on my notification bar up top i had a little ! triangle that an application needed to install, and when i tried seeing what was going on in play store it just was either an endless white screen or it'd tell me to choose one of my 2 google e-mails/accounts, selecting one would just bring the same box back up. creating a new account = existing would say "cannot connect to google servers" and making a new one would claim every e-mail address imaginable @gmail.com is already taken.

then i noticed google play services was corrupted/gone (as all my apps that used it for anything have limited-to-no functionality) and within a day or two the actual google play store icon disappeared from my apps entirely (i never disabled it) --- of course if i load up chrome and try installing google play services v3.8 it says it's installed so LOL NO. i tried re-installing the play store via an APK but it'll install and then it doesnt bother showing up.

TLDR = did i get some new brilliant malware? or hey does anyone know how to re-install google play store/services?

My autism can't handle the "tab windows" button (the touch button on the right of the home button) on my op3 being p slow. It's slow in the sense that I press it and I have to wait almost a full second until the current screen minimizes and I see the rest of the tabs open. It lags even when I have one window or app running. Not sure if this has been going on or just recently.

Is this a Nova Launcher, ROM, or just general phone lag?

I'm unlocked, no root, no other modifications, but using Nova Launcher.
