Hello faggots. My ZUK Z2 arrived today. It doesn't feel like a cheap phone tho. The buttons don't wobble, screen brightness is satisfying and it's much more responsive than my old m7... It's great hardware except ZUI so I'm flashing RR rn.
Speakers are loader than my m7 but are kinda hollow ~ still not as bad as my Xperia m2. Audio output through the jack is fine.
The home button is preddy cool. Swipe up to go back swipe left or left to switch through the application history. Doppelclick shows the classic app history screen with previews. Easy shit tho.

Shit was super easy. Zuk forum instructions makes adb usage fool proof tho. Glad to have a clean rom.
With RR you can't switch through the apps anymore. The touch thibgy only acts as a back button. Double click is still opening the recent apps switcher thing.

I bought a Xiaomi speaker and it says that it needs 5V 2A to charge, but my HTC smartphone USB charger can only output max 1A. Should I care at all? I mean won't it just charge it up anyway just slower?

My little review about it:
Bluetooth it nice, disconnects a bit if you user power saving though so be careful.
When battery is used up it goes into power save mode and plays music at lower volumes.
It can play via aux, sdcard, bluetooth I am amazed at how good it is in terms of music sources! However, it will always prefer bluetooth if its available which I think is convenient if you have something connected to it like sdcard... As for the device, it's speaking Chinese when I hit the button to check power level, what do I do people? Do I use the google translate voice app to check the electricity? Basically I figured out if it's red it means its low so that's when you charge, and you can try to remember how much you used it to know.

As for sound quality, I think it's quite good for such a small speaker. It won't do as those round ones and sperg out a lot of bass and vibrate the table, it has more rubber feet to make sure it doesn't vibrate.

Music quality is not superb though, like most small speakers they struggle a lot with complex sound. But if you listen to a lot of like music without many elements in it or basic movies on the go like me it's perfect. I would recommend you buy it if you need a speaker that fits in your pocket.

It also includes a pooch to have it in.

I have been thinking about that Hong Kong Yotaphone 2 for that e-ink screen reading books and shit. But most likely I'll just get a kindle or something.
But this also seems good. The thing is what matters most for me is the audio, and I don't trust the Lenovo brand for audio as I saw so many Lenovo products with terrible audio (lets be honest).
My phone now is the HTC One m7, audio output is pretty good, speakers are acceptable but not the best (they improved on m8 and later). So I'd need at least this quality. Since you have both it would be nice. Oh and one thing, don't compare m7 with this phone if you installed like CM and shit, the sound quality on the HTC drops significantly without the proprietary HTC optimizations for speaker frequency and the audio jack improvements which makes a much less distortion on audio output compared to what AOSP has to offer (blazing high loudness sounds terrible in my ears)

I tested the audio on CM-based ROMs such as CyanogenMod itself, the loudness is horrible on AOSP ROMs. If GPE somehow got the HTC speaker enhancements I would change, but if it has that horrible loudness audio any music lover would not offer up their audio quality for that shit. You could seriously hear hissing from the speaker when it was playing something at low volumes, and some people blew up their speakers using CM on HTC One m7 (not just sound bad, completely dead) before CM patched their shit.

Alright, so here's a small KZ ZS3 review. I'll be comparing them with Rock Zircon, because that's something a lot of people here are familiar with.

The included tips are decent. They're not great, but not bad enough for me to warrant buying other tips. I do prefer the Rock Zircon tips, though, which fit the ZS3.
Now, I actually find the Rock Zircons to be more comfortable, especially because those over-ear-cables apparently aren't my thing, but it's easier to get a proper seal with the ZS3 (is that what it's called?).

I'd say the build quality is good. They are plastic, but they do by no means feel cheap, and they don't feel like they will fall apart anytime soon. The cable is a lot like any other KZ cable, which is good enough. The play/pause button is easy to find and click, which is not the case for Rock Zircon. The gimmick with the ZS3 is that the cable is removable, which is a feature that is mostly found on much more expensive IEMs. I got them mainly for this gimmick, even though I will probably never use that feature.
The connection is very firm between the IEMs and cable, and the cable will never fall out by accident, unless you begin doing some completely retarded shit with them.

Now, I'm no audiophile, so I can't take tell what kind of shape the sound has and all that shit, but I can say that they definitely sound nice. They sound very similar to the Rock Zircons, which is a good thing. However, they've got slightly worse bass (or maybe not necessarily worse, just less of it?), but I find that they make up for that in their treble and high tones, which is a little nicer. So while they're still plenty good for hiphop, rock and such, I'd rather use them for things like jazz and other genres that take better advantage of treble.

So in conclusion, I'll be using the Rock Zircons over these, but ZS3 are still very much worth it.

Yeah, I'd like to say that, especially if we're only talking about sound, but there are other relevant factors.

Like, if you don't like over-ear-cables, the ZS3 definitely aren't for you. I think they're comfy enough, but they're not as quick and easy to put into your ears as regular IEMs. I didn't include that in the review, because it's not really the fault of the headphones themselves, but that's just a side-effect of over-ear-cables.

The Rock Zircons braided cable is also less likely to tangle, and they just generally feel much higher quality.

But if you don't care about any of that shit, then yeah, Zircons for niggerbass, ZS3's otherwise.

Keep in mind that I've only tried EDR2, Piston 3 and Rock Zircon. The KZ ATE, for a similar price, could very well be better than ZS3, but I wouldn't know anything about that.

Received a chink tablet that overheats when it's turned off and loses the charge.

Opened a paypal dispute, seller asked me to check a local service and they will pay the repairs.

Went to local service, they say the tablet gets shorted somewhere but they can't order components for those tablets(xiaomi) since we're in eastern europe.

Got my KZ ZS3s today.
A huge plus with them is the comfyness. Unlike the ATEs, they don't pop out of your ears if you move your jaw or head too much and are molded very well to match the human ear. The memeory wire helps too, keeps them in.
Button is nice and tactile, usually find other KZ buttons mushy.
The wire isn't the weird innards type deal but a nice black rubber, and the gummyness has decreased because of that aswell.
So build quality is great.

In terms of sound, I'm still debating whether I like them over the ATEs. I heard they might sound better on an amp and I'm inclined to think that's true, although I don't have a way to test that at the moment.
They respond decentish to equalizing, but on something like a regular phone there's something a bit off on how they sound, while the ATEs have a very nice signature on any device. Like it's not as crisp as you'd expect, but the bass is good and precise.
On terms of pure comfort these might become my main phones though.
I recommend to give 'em a try, they come in a nice package, with a removable cable and with good boy points you can get them for about 6 bucks which I think is a great deal.
