There is no "usual" price level for this thing, it's something the Chinese kinda custom-made to please their customers in flashlight forums directly, based on feedback.

I personally consider those imaginary $60 never mind the actual $35-40 it was sold for too high now.

Okay, you can find *far* higher prices for comparable devices on the overall market - even in corners of the market that can into China (never mind all the plebs that can't and will pay like $100+ for such a light).

But I'm just going by the idea that a Convoy S8 or S2+ with the XP-L Hi chip also works *almost* as fine, with a bit less frills and a bit less output, for ~$15. $20-25 sounds right for this one. I personally probably wouldn't pay more.

I showed him one of my cheap $3 chink lights, and he didn't like the memory and how you had to cycle through all the modes just to get to the brightest setting again. I modified that light so that it would just reset to the first mode after around a second of being off, but if you rapidly turn it off and on again it will change modes. Something like that would also be acceptable.

-can't root at the moment
-mine sometimes reboots when charging and I unlock it
