I have the Firefly 6S and am hugely impressed with it. I don't see how the 7S represents much of an improvement over the 6S unless you really need the rear display to frame your shots instead of just connecting your phone to it and using the FPV app.

The Firefly 6S (and presumably the 7S too) have the exact same external form factor as a GoPro externally so you can use higher quality GoPro mounts etc. Don't know if this applies for the Gitup.

Got my first chinkphone, a Bluboo Maya for $63 USD.
Although I doubt many others are interested in a 3g phone here's a mini review.

Pros:

Looks good, I highly doubt anyone would expect this is such a cheap phone just by looking at it.
This was the cheapest 2gb of ram phone at the time of purchase and it's good, no ram usage issues even with a bunch of apps open.
Pretty much stock android 6.0 except one "beauty" app to edit your photos, easily changed to nova launcher/klwp/zui locker.
Feel really snappy, I was expecting slowness to be one of the negatives of this phone since its a mtk6580 but everything opens fast and works well.
Display is great, I watched reviews of this phone versus other cheap phones and the display always looked better and seeing it in real life confirms it. Bluboo says this same 720p display is good enough for their 6inch phone as well, I don't know about that but it sure as hell works here at 5.5.

Neutral:

The camera, it's okay but bluboo kinda hyped this is the main feature of the phone. I admit it does take some good outdoor shots but anything low light at all and it falls apart. I know this is a complaint for most chink phone cameras, but it's even worse than most here.
Speaker is loud enough but the quality leaves much to be desired, for the price this is pretty much what I expected.

Negatives:

The flash is pretty weak which is unfortunate with how bad the phone does at low light.
The earpiece speaker is kind of quiet, not bad enough that you can't hear but if I was at an event with a lot of noise I think I would have issues.
When I talk to people they say my voice is clear but there is a constant static background noise.
Battery takes forever to charge, I think it's limited to 5v/0.5a so it's a good 4 hours or more before this is charged.
If you try and charge this phone, and do something cpu intensive like play a game it can start getting hot very fast.

I'm happy with it, though it's currently $75 so there may be better options.

My Redmi 3s arrived today. Works pretty well with my shark card too. I got it direct from Xiaomi on Taobao so the box was sealed. As soon as I got it, I flashed the global ROM. You can probably get away with using Linux. It is x86-64 after all. You may run into an issue with graphics drivers but I would think that the Gen8 drivers are going to be already developed or out soon enough.

I have a (screenless) wacom digitizer, so I kinda want a tablet that I can chillout in the living room or in bed drawing. More concerned how powerful the cpu/gpu is for android, even my phone has a higher clock speed.

Z8300 should be atleast enough for watching/streaming 1080p, right?

If the cube i7 had dualboot I'd go for that, but I couldnt find a single core m tablet with dual boot and (good) stylus support yet
