Asus VivoBook E200.
13 hours battery life
Fast enough to play Skyrim at native res, low-med settings
Handles web browsing fine with 5-15 tabs in Chrome.
It has 32GB internal memory but you can easily expand it with microSD
Decent keyboard for the price
$179
Just do a full reinstall of Windows 10 once you get it because there's a fuckton of bloatware on it.

Get a cheap t420/t430 and keep upgrading it in the future whenever you have some spare money, the upgrades never end.
Looking for an "affordable" laptop. I want a good 1080p screen, type C for power (same as my phone, so I only gotta carry one charger) and would rather have a thin and light laptop over a powerful one.
Where should I look?

Im not sure if you can charge both with same charger though as phone and laptop would have different wattage and voltage.

No, the whole point is you can charge both with the same charger. It's why out of spec wires are such a big deal on Type C. True type C cables are with Type C on both ends, they need a chip in them to keep power flowing the right ways. Legacy Typc C (Type C on one end, USB A on the other) needs a resistor to tell the denice it's a dumb cable. A proper charger will be able to feed a laptop 60w, then plug in your cell phone and the charger should (if in spec) will feed your phone 12 watts or whatever it's rated for
