Now that I've got a laptop, I'm not really interested in getting a flagship phone, but my current phone's on its last legs and I'm looking for a replacement.

It's a great phone but it does have some problems.

There is the lag and frame drops that all Samsung phones have due to them loading them up with a fucking shit ton of bloatware. Some people don't give a shit about that though, but some are sensitive to it. It's not the kind of lag that makes it takes extra seconds to do things, but it's like microstutters.

The edges are really fucking sensitive and they don't have good palm rejection. So you're going to end up with a lot of false presses that can get frustrating. The Note 7 is much better on this front, maybe due to the digitizer used in that phone.

Also there is some distortion on the screen that can be annoying.

Best phone available for Sprint right now?

My LG G4 boot looped, and with shipping and how slow LG is, I likely won't see my replacement phone for 2 weeks. I actually have a social life and can't be without a phone that long.

They work great in my area, 4g and 3 bars minimum at all times except deep into forest areas. That and unlimited everything for 50 bucks. It's amazing hearing friends and family bitch about going over 10 gigs and not being able to use data for a week when I'm sitting there well over 100.

It is, but in a gimmicky way. There's never a time where I felt I *had* to have it, or that it really saved my ass. I use it to doodle, or help solve puzzles in The Witness. I don't use it for notes, or translation, or anything else, because everything it does you can just download an app for. It's not as sensitive as I thought, either, so my writing skips sometimes. Really, the best part of the S-Pen is taking out the S-Pen and looking sophisticated.

The 6P has an excellent camera so you don't really have a lot of options. I'd say the Samsung flagships, maybe the HTC 10, maybe Apple. The Nexus 5X technically has the same camera as the 6P but its processor doesn't handle taking photos in HDR+ as well, it takes a long time to process. The photos do turn out great though.

Used a temper glass screen protector with a rubber case for my one plus one and for the only time I dropped it from around 4 feet tall, the screen protector was intact but somehow the actual screen itself got slightly separated and stopped recognizing my touches
As for stopping scratches, it did a pretty good job (I bought the expendable ones so when it would get scratched i'd just replace it)

Redmi Note 3 Pro 3gb vs Zenfone 3 (5.5 3gb)

Yes, I know Redmi is better, BUT it doesn't sell in my country and we have 84% of importantion taxes for eletronics, so it would be 1500 R$ vs 1200 R$ (20% difference) with the extra problem of not having warranty and support from Xiaomi.
I know Redmi has a better processor as well as battery, which is nice, but I don't think the level of difference in the processor is that much advantage, while the Camera on Zenfone 3 is much better.

Just went from a nexus 6 to a note 7. Note 7 feels so small in the hands thanks to the curved display and curved back. Camera is a billion times better and the expandable memory is sweet. Only thing thats a downgrade is no front facing speakers on the note 7. I wish Samsung would put them on the note line. Also like having buttons instead of the on screen ones the nexus had. Battery life is much better as well, all my old fast charge 2.0 stuff seems to work great with my note 7.

Themes are also great. Installed a material dark theme and like it a lot.

Ive personally had it for a while now and do a lot of traveling and on average spend forty or less a month the only thing that sucks is having to purchase the Google phone exclusively. I'd pass on the G5 because of the bootloop causing hardware fault. The Honor 8 has great hardware, but it has possibly the worst Android UI ever created. I just couldn't deal with it.

It's my current phone.
It's a really weird device.
Has the build quality of flagships from like 5 years ago, but modern hardware and features.
Main camera is just a hair worse than the S7 (mostly in low light), but is still one of the best around. However, the second, wide angle camera gives it much more versatility and is really what makes the phone for me.
Well, that, and the removable battery. Have 2 spares + a charging cradle I got off Amazon.

Main camera is the same unit as the G4's, but it doesn't have the wide angle lens, if that helps.
Either way, it's the best camera out of the phones you listed there.
