I have almost 1,000 torrents and I want to know the best way to migrate them all to a new machine. Using utorrent 2.2.1 . All of the .torrent files are saved to a folder on a separate drive. All downloaded files live on a separate drive as well. I think that the biggest issue I'll have is that I separate everything into separate folders based on where they came from. /BTN, /passthepopcorn, /myspleen, you get the idea... there's also that annoying problem where I run into a torrent every now and then of something like a TV show where the folder is named /Season 1, and then some others do the same thing... so I realize I'm in for a bit of a headache but is there any way to make it a little easier? My last migration happened about a few years ago when I went from a dual opteron system to a core2quad machine.

90% of the image is completely static and where there is movement is entirely stuff that is always on screen and you just need to track it's movement.

As soon as the camera starts moving around, as soon as you start with wide panning shots, as soon as there is lots of people running around, you'll start to see just how bad bitstarved video can look like.

The codec isn't bad or useless. It's great if you're encoding something like talk shows or anything else with a static camera angle.

I migrated my shit to my Raspberry Pi this week.
Since I have all torrents in one folder, I just set the download folder to where all the files are and deactivated all the forbidden stuff (DHl, etc.).
After that I opened the saved torrents files with deluge and checked if everything worked with the download folder. If you mess this up, of course your torrent client downloads all the files again. So try it first with one torrent before opening them all at once.
