I finally joined WCD some time ago and I have a few questions. I seed 24/7 and I uploaded roughly 0. I made several uploads, but no one wants them. I see how I should fill in requests to progress, but I'm not planning to do that because paying to pirate doesn't make sense to me. I'd rather buy what I need in the end (films) than do that.

So my 2 questions are:

1. Is there going to be full site freeleech on WCD on christmas or new year? I have bookmarked quite a lot of albums but doesn't want to download them as it would destroy my ratio completely.

As for efforts, I have enough. I prepared for interview and passed it, I created several uploads. I'm willing to do everything except what makes me spend my money on what I personally don't need, because in this case it's not pirating, it's another form of online store.

As for being #rekt on PTP, I'm pretty sure I won't. WCD is hard economy, PTP is soft. I have a collection of several hundreds films, most of them 40 GB blu-rays, which spans on several TB. I would improve it with better versions and download more films, and seed it permanently, so I'm pretty sure I would have survived on PTP. But anyway yes, most of my needs are satisfied with rutracker, so maybe I'll end up with WCD only.

Haha it's completely true, AHD is uber-meme-tier and their "community" is just a bunch of losers. They act like they are the shit but in terms of content/retention they are nowhere near PTP or HDB.
Even in terms of quality they are lacking. Their internals are subpar at best, usually hyper-bloated not to mention how they allow limitless shitty copies of the same thing because of their dumb rules. Even HD-T is better because at least their rules make sense, seeding is very easy and hit-n-run is allowed.

To sum it up, AHD is basically HDB for stupid people.

HDS is okay if you're just starting out with private trackers. Easy to join, easy to maintain good ratio and decent internals and content even tho they have even less torrents than AHD. Hard to say if it's better or worse overall but at least people on HDS are realistic and they are aware of their low-mid-tier status.
