Two reasons, number one, I'm poor, number two, I am in the US going to Europe soon, for some god damn reason phone in Europe are anywhere between $100 and $200 more than their US model, so many phones we'd consider reasonably priced in the US don't have the 4G bands to work in Europe or become so pricey that it makes sense to buy a iphone for $400. Prices in Europe are wacky and on top of that there are regional differences and it becomes very difficult to order a phone from one state into another state because reasons(??) they won't ship it or want to be paid with a credit card from that state only.

So how about them "flexible glass" screen protectors? They're supposed to be thinner than tempered glass, offer better protection and still feel like glass.
I've read everything from praise to claims they aren't actual glass.

Disclaimer - I don't care about scratch resistance, they're supposed to be disposable. I want something that will decrease the chance of a broken screen in case of a drop, won't compromise the touch controls and screen clarity and won't add too much bulk to the phone.

Hey, /g/. It's that magical time every two years when Verizon lets me upgrade my phone at below retail price with my parents paying for the 2 year contract. I live in the US.

I've been using an HTC One M8 for the last two years. I'm pretty happy with the hardware, but it's been getting much slower since it keeps getting crapware shoveled on that I can't remove. Last time I tried to root my phone I read that it was impossible.

So, my criteria:

-Hardware equal to or better than HTC One M8
-Budget maxes out at $200, but I'd like to keep it to $100

I'm on a tight budget and searching for a phone with good sensors abd a local dusteibutor have a pretty affordable offer for the HTC One M8 and a still reasonable one for the Sony Xperia z3.

Both have still quite decent spects compared with current low end smartphones. How they run on Marshmallow? Are they decent? Do the 3gb of RAM of the z3 make a significant difference in performance over the 2gb of the M8?

Just got my Moto X Pure Edition in. Gorgeous looking. Got it in White + Bamboo. Paid $320 for it on Amazon.

My Nex5 is having the power button boot loop issue that's been getting worse and worse, happening more and more frequently, and I was planning on getting a new phone before that issue started anyways.

I think I regret buying my s7 edge instead of an iPhone. This is not a shill.

Also I had a good experience with the s3 so I just figured it would be the same. The thing sticks out like crazy, my s3 was white and the logo was smaller it really didn't bother me at all.
