Does browser choice affect battery life?
>>56063745
yes. Safari is very effective compared to the other browsers
>>56063745
They are. But the real devil is JavaScript.
Chrome is fast but needs more battery
Firefox is slow and also needs much
Opera with battery saving enabled and edge are slow but dont need as much energy
>>56063745
Yes
Use Safari if you have Apple hardware. Use Opera with battery saver for anything else
>>56063798
Not op
Is that true?
Is safari actually good?
Is "le safari is for casuals" meme just a meme?
Use Min Browser on a Mac if you can get by with barebones functionality as it also saves battery.

This
If you download Opera
Then you should download opera developer version
>built in adblock
>built in VPN (for great bantz in >>>/int/ or >>>/pol/)
>battery safe mode
I have been using it for last 5 or so months and it is my go-to browser even though it might be little sluggish compare to chromium

Safari is actually good.
Just use the best browser in general, it should be obvious which one I mean.
>>56063745
Yes. If you want to use stable browsers, opera has the best battery life even if you don't enable battery saving, it's basically chrome with no ads and no integrated google bloat. It's arguably better than chrome just because of that. Not sure why it is sluggish for >>56064467 , from what I've experienced it's just as fast as chrome if not father sometimes because chrome tends to push ads on you (it's a Google product after all).
