ancient shit, mate

>Bitcoin
more like chink-coin
have fun with your """decentralized""" currency, when it's effectively controlled by 4 chinese guys.
>>56041896
any good alternatives?
>>56042258
Trumpcoin.
>>56042258
No
Bitcoin is as good as it gets in the cryptocurrency world for now
>>56042590
When coin has such a dedicated fudder group following (who never have any evidence) and reddit hates it, you know they must be doing something right. MCGA
>>56042590
This has potential, remember ron Paul coin?
>>56042590
Hell yeah! The coin with the biggest potential since bitcoin!
>>56042258
Ethereum, probably.
Although it's still pretty new and it will only become good in practice once it gets bigger (in a few years).

Literally the only good thing about Bitcoin is popularity, that's it.
It's broken by design because it relies on mining, which leads to it not being properly decentralized, as you can see.

>>Literally the only good thing about Bitcoin is popularity, that's it.
And that's the most important thing. All the other cryptocurrencies might have great innovations, but it doesn't matter if there is no way to use them because they aren't accepted anywhere.
>>56042827
Ethereum isn't any better. They hard forked to save their stolen money ffs. Eth is propped up by its bagholders. If you believe in decentralized crypto, do not buy eth.
>>56042881
>They hard forked to save their stolen money ffs.
This is less and less likely to happen again the bigger it gets.
Also if the fork bothers you just use the old preforked version.
I don't really understand all this whining about the fork, though. All currencies rely on the community, so forks are always a possibility and you need to get the masses of people on board if you want it to be popular.
>>56042955
They can't be trusted. What about trying to dump 700k etc secretly so they could buy more eth?
People are rightfully upset. The devs fucked up. You're a bagholder. This centralized doesn't deserve to be popular.
This is seriously the best the crypto world has to offer? It's a fucking shit show.
>>56042881
Thats right. Ethereum is a shitcurrency, because if you create rules, you should be the first one to obey them.
>>56042955
The very fact of a fork creates a premise to repeat it. Nobody has broken the rules what DAO hack happened, the guy was just using the fact that rules were shit.
I think bitcoin have finally found it's killer app, so it's great future only begins now
