My spartan battlestation as it stands.

Monitors are a PG278Q ROG Swift and a cheap korean A- panel on the side. The plan is to get rid of the korean monitor (it being faulty), get two inexpensive 27" 1440p TN displays and a triple monitor stand to free up a bit of space. There's an old 1920x1200 monitor on the other desk that I think needs some new capacitors, hopefully I'll be able to get it working soon.

The speakers are an old cheap Sony set I've had for over a decade. I hardly ever use them, instead using my Sennheiser HDR170 wireless headphones. They're getting a bit long in the tooth though, and I might be looking to try some nicer headphones soon.

Most of the build is three years old now, apart from the 980Ti which was added a year ago.The build was optimised for silence - the PSU and GPU fans don't spin until under moderate load, hence the higher idle temps. The case is a Silverstone FT02, those three massive fans at the base move a load of air at low RPM, making them pretty much silent.

I'm completely at a loss on how to make this boring space feel a bit more homely. I'm renting so I can't change the walls or floor. I'm open to suggestions because I'm finding the blank canvas in front of me quite intimidating.

There are some programs you can use to zoom things in and make it more or less fit, but it's not native to any bluray playback software from what I have seen and it requires installing and running freeware scripts.

The picture is slightly distorted by the panorama plugin, in reality it's not that extreme. And with a normal drumkit my left leg would be on the second bass pedal so my hi-hat has always been a bit more to the left front.
