So, right now there are three series:
Macbook Pro
Macbook
Macbook Air
Macbook seems to be the natural substitute for the Macbook Air, as the latter looks chunky and outdated now. The thing is, it is the only sub 1000€ (just barely) option.
Do you think Apple will go the SE route and offer something similar to the late plastic Macbooks?

apple has been circling the drain ever since jobs died
The Macbook is absolute garbage. I'd rather have an Air any day of the week than use that abortion of a keyboard.

If I could get machine pictured with a 6200u and 8gb ddr4 I'd pay out the ass. When I was a teenager and that model came out I drooled over it forever.
I wish Apple would bring it back over the core M shit. It's more than enough for web browsing but not enough for anything else just make a midrange 6200/6500u machine in plastic fuck

I was genuinely surprised that Apple didn't rebrand the current Air as the "macbook" and the new Macbook as the Air.
It won't be the first time they shuffled brands around like that.
I really hate to admit that i'd be into getting a Macbook, if it had one more usb c port even. Pragmatically i'd rather get a Pro though.

Why in the name of fuck is the Macbook not the Macbook air and the current Air the Macbook.
>macbook air: thin, portable, shit
>macbook: even more thin, even more portable, even more shit
