It came with chink vendor ROM but there is no global ROM at all for the 3S yet and chinese ROM has no play services, so vendor ROM is actually better.

I just bootloader unlocked (didn't need to request again because I used my same mi account) I just flashed the Xiaomi.eu weekly ROM which is very similar to the global ROM on my RN3P.

It scored about 43k on Antutu. Accidentally left it turned on in the box and it only drained about 35% of it's battery over 7 days. With the Xiaomi.eu MIUI8 ROM this phone fucking wrecks for $115.

is it possible to re-lock bootloader after installing a custom rom on this device? I installed cm13 but some banking apps still detect root access or the unlocked bootloader. I tried using xposed framework with rootcloak but this did not work.

I once bought from Japanese ebay type site and oh boy it was the first and last time buying from that fucking island. I picked up this sick special edition gamecube controller that was only sold in Japan, it was still in production at the time. The controller was 20 eurofag moneys so it was the perfect amount. Now you have to know that once upon a time you could import shit without vat to Finland if it cost under 50 euros, but since we have this independent-wannabe-swede-island where every gamestore set up an warehouse and sold vat free xbox 360 games and dvd from, was that amount set to 22 euros where it remains until this very day. So back to the story. The shipping for the controller was another 4 euros bringing the total to 24 euros, i thought that even in this communist state of russia called Finland no one would give two shits about two euros (pun intended). Fast forward 2 weeks when I received letter from the custom stating that they opened the package and accused me of smuggling and said that I wasn't getting my package without my credit card receipt. Which off course stated 24 euro transaction to Japan. So because I went 2 euros above the limit they raped me with taxes on the whole price not just the 2 euros, also customs fees, hours of paper work and I ended up with opened package, which for collector means the controller is pretty much worthless and total price was about 50 euros. Never bought again from Japan. Funny thing is, none of my chink packages have been opened or asked about, even if they say "gift" like that Japanese package said.
