I'm HD Veteran on AHD and just got into PTP a couple weeks ago.
PTP certainly has an easier BP/upload system, but so far I'm preferring AHD. Its HD encodes seem to be of higher quality.
I do agree you should cross seed what you can though.

AHD gets encodes from many different scene and p2p groups. The HDB encodes are the best.

PTP only allows two encodes per format. One encode usually has to be significantly smaller in filesize otherwise it's considered a dupe. That leaves only one good 1080p encode, which usually ends up being the golden popcorn.

Unfortunately, the GP system is completely random and we end up with inferior encodes that were posted faster or bloated encodes

I was under the impression NTb released for HDB as well as BTN. I've seen some chop jobs by NTb, notably their 1080p S02 of POI which the encoder couldn't even bother putting srt subtitles (no need to OCR when DON's 720p came out first and had SHD and non SHD subtitles) and left only PGS.

I autistically downloaded DON's 720p s02 and extracted the subtitles so plex would work.

Not autistic as downloading the 720p DTS and 1080p DD5.1 of Mr. Robot and remuxing the two together to get 1080p DTS. (I had already downloaded the 1080p encode otherwise would have just done the remux and hooked my PC to my reciever for full audio and video quality) still pretty autistic of me doe
