I'd actually recommend hd-t higher than ahd. More torrents, better retention, lots of HDB internals and while hd-t might have fallen down the HD encode quality ladder, ahd isn't that much better due to their bloat. Also hd-t has better TV packs and is good for cross seeding to HDB. Hd-t also has mteam and ttg invites supposedly.

I agree with everything you said. I prefer HD-T over AHD myself because of the lax rules, content variety, no seeding requirements and good retention. I use it when I can't be bothered to seed something from HDB/PTP and it comes in handy.
Still a replacement/backup tho, nothing comes close to king HDB.

Also, for the future, you should have a constant backup of all the data in the AppData folders for Windows. I just recently did a fresh install of Windows and made sure to back up my qBittorrent folders in AppData/Local and AppData/Roaming. Then I made sure my drive letters were assigned the same ones as before, restored the backed up folders, and qBittorrent resumed all my torrents exactly as before. Didn't even have to recheck anything, the fastresume states took care of all that.
