hotkey function to alternate primary monitors in Windows 10?

Copying from last thread:
Retarded Windows goes to sleep in the middle of installing updates. This requires me to watch the update, and if it automatically updates, the next day I'm greeted with a "working on updates: 1%" and I have to wait 30 minutes to use my computer.

How do I fix this?

Why does Mullvad seem to be so inconsistent? Sometimes I will be able to connect to web pages perfectly fine with it and seconds later it suddenly can't load anything no matter what country I'm connecting to.

I never had this problem a few months ago. Everything worked completely fine back then. Of course mullvad has no forums or anything at all to discuss any of this.

I understand once I exceed the byte value it changes to 0.
However, when I minus two off, it shows 254 which means that even when the value exceeded 0, the value is still actually stored. Why wouldn't it just show -2?

Yeah if you exceed the range in either direction it will overflow.
0 - 1 = 255
0 - 2 = 254

probably a terminal

back in the day terminals were physical machines, like pictures, which connect to a mainframe
the terminals themselves just provide keyboard input and video output, and aren't actually computers

as for the green, it was a common color choice, the monitors were often monochrome, meaning they could only produce one color

for some time this was THE method of using a computer, until home computers with more advanced integrated video hardware came along

Open Source!

Those are words intended to make a complex and convoluted thing sound simple and comprehensive. The best they can do is try and tap out certain parts of the system based on behavior. But microsoft has already demonstrated they can not only control but also remove any software on the pc without notice. And all they have to do to conceal telemetry components is make their transmissions encrypted it and make them look like something else. This is like people trying to convince themselves that the pull out method is safe. Might work, might not, but you're sure as hell not basing your actions on empirical facts.

You can try plugging it into a computer and just dragging out all your important data, but you might need to unlock the tablet to grant permission to the pc.

If you have a custom recovery just boot into the recovery and plug it into your pc. Even if you have a password you'll be able to take files out if you have a custom recovery.

Of course not. But this is an old argument. Is it better to use an unreliable protection if it produces a false sense of security that influences your decisions? People believing they are safer than they are has consequences. It would be better to mention the tool and say it might help a little, but you shouldn't count on it. They might consider other options like you have if they have a more accurate perspective.

Hit and miss, Nvidia, AMD, they might have their problem, a streak of successes does not automatically guarantee a perfect product sequel.
Check "Logical increments" and the website you find when looking for GPU charts, see where you GPU stands using these 2 websites, think about the resolution you are playing at and how much increase do you need.

IP Webcam is godtier. It's free and makes me see the stream not only on a web browser but also on media players that support motionjpg, such as VLC.

Is there an app for iPhone with such features? I have this old iPhone 4S and want to use it to monitor my window.

I had just assumed that it was a problem with the controller.
Could you somehow break a USB port by inserting something into it?

Someone got the mouse /g/uide?

My trusty G400s is kill ;_;7, and I badly need a replacement

Did this, now I'm getting the 'Android is starting... Optimising app x of y'. Really hoping this hasn't wiped the apps I reinstalled today.

the mouse /g/uide is outdated and incomplete.
Just use the logicalincrements.com mouse recommendations instead.

It'll take a while to boot back up though, so be patient.

Hey, /g/.

I'm following this overclocking guide:
https://rog.asus.com/7922012/overclocking/guide-overclocking-the-core-i5-3570k-to-4-5ghz-on-the-maximus-v-gene/

After the "test" settings (which is like the max to ensure everything goes well) I got BSoD before I got to loading up Prime95.

My memory is 1600Mhz (which is what I set it to in BIOS).

Shit crashes when I reduce to 4.4Ghz clock. I'm now testing with 1333Mhz on the RAM setting, but I'm not very hopeful.

Do I have the most stubborn 3570K in the world or something? How can shit go this bad?

Should I connect some account to install stuff easier? Or is there some other way? I dont want share too much info with google.

>>
>>55528522
>>55528541
Increase Vcore very slightly until you get to windows and then Intel Burn Test + Prime95
>>
>>55528681
If you can get to 4.4 then go for it. Anything above that you should check online since it might cause performance issues for some old phones.

Lightning and naked are both open source browsers that don't take up a lot of space, and are extremely lightweight. I'm not sure about naked, but lightning has built in ad blocking as well.
I think that you need to sign in to an account to be able to use the play store, but if I'm wrong then you should be fine without doing that. Google apps might not work properly though like drive, docs, slides, etc.

there might be some apps you won't be able to use, but it shouldn't be a huge deal.
Check on xda if there's a root method for you phone and any custom roms. Those might be on newer android versions.
>>
>>55528902
You could use something like this

var textfield_input = document.getElementById('your-textfield-id');

// Gets called whenever you press a button when in the textfield/area
textfield_input.onkeyup = function(e) {

// Text Content of the text field/area
var textContent = this.value;

// Update autocomplete suggestion here

};

The autocomplete suggestion box is probably just a div with a higher z-index than the underlying content.

It may also interfere with RAM slots less due to the offset design

I was able to get it stable at 4.4GHz and 1.26V. Temps never getting above 80 (Celsius). Still seems like an unusually stubborn CPU though. 4.5GHz is still failing at 1.275V.

I'll test further tomorrow though (is there a point I really should stop?). Although at the moment it seems wise to stick to 4.4GHz.
>>
>>55529415
If I remember correctly ABP lets companies pay them to unblock their adds. That's why everyone switched to ublock origin.

This is going to be a bit complicated but please stay with me.

I ordered a used Mainboard+CPU and Cooler online.

It was from a site where you sell between two people, no legal obligations involved, the point is I can't sue someone if he doesn't actually send me anything at all or bullshit, the idea is you get it from the person in person but on that site you often make agreements to deliver on that site and just sell used stuff very cheap.

He offered me an AMD FX 8350, an MSI 970 Motherboard and a Noctua NH-D14 Cooler.

But the Cooler I got today isn't that one, I think what it is is an Alpenföhn Brocken Eco. Just the fan is from Noctua. Don't ask me why there is this other fan, I don't ever see that on pictures, should I still mount it on the other side? The thing is I also have 2 fans installed on the top of my case. Not sure if this helps

I suppose it is enough to cool that processor, I don't even care about it being the wrong one, my problem is I have no fucking idea how to attach it.

It had these 4 different kind of screws and the things you see on the picture, no idea how to get that mounted on the am3+.
>>
>>55529638
Its missing the bracket to attach it to the backplate

Is this legit? I know JDownloader has tried to sneak adware on people before.
>>
This is a homework question, I'm only asking it because I'm pretty sure my professor is fucking me over

I'm supposed to use json and pickle .dump to take user information from a 'tweet', which is a dictionary, and put it in a json or pickle file depending on user input. The user information is stored in the tweet as a dictionary under the key 'user'. So, I did this:
def extract_user(path, outpath, as_type = None):
if as_type == None:
as_type = "json"
tweet = load_tweet(path)
user = tweet['user']
if as_type == "json":
with open(outpath, "w") as out:
json.dump(user, out)
elif as_type == "pkl":
with open(outpath, "wb") as out:
pickle.dump(user, out)

This runs without error but when I run his test code it screws up:
import os.path
assert extract_user("q2data/tweet.json", "q2data/out.json")
assert os.path.exists("q2data/out.json")
truth = redacted for size, just a string with the user info in a json format
assert open("q2data/out.json", "r").read().trim() == truth

I get an error on the .trim() here because str has no trim attribute. But since json.dump makes a string, and I can't find .trim() in any kind of python documentation I don't know what to do. Even removing the trim(), it still says my code is wrong because my string is ordered differently than his test string. However, it has all of the same components and dictionaries and json strings are both unordered so how the fuck is this supposed to work in the first place? I honestly think my code is perfect and he screwed something up but it's likely that I missed something stupid.
>>
>>55529719
Well, no
It also looks like the wrong backplate, but finding replacement screws would probably be a lot easier than a new bracket.
>>
>>55529762
forgot to mention, load_tweet is just a function that loads the whole tweet as a python dicitonary
>>

If you can't crack 4.5 at 1.3 vcore, you should just stick to 4.4 @ 1.26. Even if you can do 4.5 @ 1.3 I'd still go for 4.4 instead because 1.26 to 1.3 is actually a decent jump due to how voltage scales roughly cubed.
>>
>>55529852
I actually continued to test instead of going to sleep like I should. I hit 1.295V and got it fairly stable, but it crashed again after I tried a second cycle with IBT (with Prime95 running).

Might be 1.3V could work, but I think I'm sticking to 4.4GHz.
>>
>>55529203
