Depends on the laptop.
Brand laptops tend to be kinds difficult to open, because you have to remove a lot of screws and stuff like your keyboard. As you said, though, there are a ton of guides, so it's hard to screw up.
The cleaning part is easy: get a can of pressurized air and blow air from the inside out to blow the dust away. If you want to be meticulous, you can also remove the coolers and clean them individually, but not too necessary imo.
Tl;dr look up how to open up your laptop and if you think you can do it, just do it; get a can of compressed air and blow away the dust. That's it.

No you don't defrag an ssd because it wastes write cycles and is literally pointless since it's a solid disk i.e. no fragmentation. Ok /g/uys I really hope that you can help me. To clarify, this is by no means my first rodeo with computers, hardware, or software. But I'm at my wits end.

>Install Windows 7 on my file/print server for ease of use, and amazing Out of the box remote desktop. Server is always on. Had uptime of 3 months. Turn off server properly (about 10 sec for shutdown), remove a drive I was putting somewhere else. Server now takes 20+ minutes to boot from button press to desktop when it took no time at all before. Also on a Samsung SSD.

This is the 3rd time this shit has happened!! Is Windows fucking incapable of staying on for weeks at a time? What the fuck? I'm pulling apart the server to pop the CMOS battery and take the Ram sticks out as well.

Lastly

Any alternative to SoundCloud for Android? It went full jew with previews and some songs I used to listen now are previews.
I usually follow people that aren't very "famous", thought they actually are, but most of them won't hit the main radio or TV channels as only famous as shit and mainstream producers get there.

nothing is wrong with afterburner. Just looking at the name of your GPU says that you're using an APU. AMD A4. On the A-series of chips from AMD, the graphics processor is part of the processor. The iGPU in those chips can't usually be overclocked via standard OC tools.

You really shouldn't. That shortens lifespan. But so does always keeping it topped off. It also self-destructs slowly if sitting unplugged while existing. Supposedly slower if charged to about 40% first. Just don't worry about it. The battery will be unusable within a decade. New cells are cheap enough.

How do I calibrate my color settings for my monitor?
I don't want to buy one of these in my pic.

I want to calibrate the colors by eye.
I had an idea of buying brand new Lego kids blocks and eyeballing the colors to match the monitor colors.

Is this a better idea than spending $100 on a Datacolor Spyder5Pro? I mean my LG Ultrawide monitor was cheap and buying a Spyder5Pro is 2/3 the cost of buying a new monitor.

I've done that. Linux has garbage remote desktop experience, and something as simple as sharing a folder over the network is a hassle. Even when the process is done, I still can't saturate a gigabit connection on my LAN compared to windows doing that shit in its sleep.
