What does everyone think about that $100 Windows/Android Chuwi Hi8 tablet everyone keeps shilling on /g/? Specs look really decent except for the camera.
>>
>>54883645
People are shilling Hi10, not Hi8.
Hi8 has some issues with battery and bios or something.

Hey goys

I have a relative who designs the "as seen on TV" toys and gizmos. He works extensively with the chink factory people, and he knows the ins and outs of how much they make on a product/how much it costs to make. And stuff like that.

so ask me any questions about chink factory secrets or what have you. I know a bit.

btw there is a high chance that the packaging of your chink (excluding large electronics) shit cost more than the product.
Those piston earbud things? Yeah the fancy packaging most likely cost more than the earbuds themselves

>>
>>54884567
>bitching about the op
You seem pretty cancerous yourself too.
>>
>>54884624
For most chinky chink stuff, about 400%.

You'll see 250-300% thrown around a lot, but that's an extremely conservative number. When it comes down to it, factoring in corruption and the "magic powers" of the chink currency, it's really 400+%.

There are very few exceptions to this number.
>>
>>54884683
How difficult would it be to directly purchase from a factory if I want 5000 cables and how likely is it that they'll mix in some faulty ones to increase profit?
>>
>>54884613

why is your battery percentage on the right side of the battery? Mine is on the left side
>>

>>
Hey /csg/!

Any idea how I can consolidate all the goods into one shipment that I bought from different sellers from AliExpress?
I mean it would cut the customs cost here instead of the goods arriving at different times.

DX.com has this option I don't know why AliExpress does not have it.
>>
>>54884857
1.5-1.7GB
>>
>>54884831
Would not be difficult in the slightest.
Money is money.

As for faulty items - if they say that there is a 1/1000 failure rate, and you buy 5000 of them, you can be sure as fuck that there are exactly 5 ded items in the shipment.

Often. manufacturers will literally have a "low quality" production line and a "high quality" production line in the same factory.

The actual cost difference between the two, for the chinks, is very small.

But some buyers want the "hugh quality," and some are fine with "low quality."

The biggest Jews are the Chinese, I tell ya

It's cheaper for the Chinese companies to ship a pallet of stuff than for them to pay someone to package lots of little boxes.

I like the tablet in terms of specs but i would settle for a more reliable brand. Definately.

Been having a bunch of charging problems with mine and i've managed to make it charge for now when plugged into a more reliable QC 2.0 wallcharger but i'm still kinda on the edge since that tablet has broken ( don't ask me how ) the original charger.

Perhaps go for Teclast? Anyhoo, just google the tablet for common problems before ordering it.

>>54885067
My uneducated guess is that the packaging is done at another factory and some employees at the primary factory run a ghost shift without upper management knowing. So they have a batch of "unofficial" product and no way to package them. So they sell them out the "back door".

Sing a poor, Hung Kong, Chink Post (aka sellers' basic free option on Aliexpress) to Hungary:

Minimum time: 10 days.
Maximum time: 56 days.
Never had a lost package.

1-2 years ago it was usual that the seller either gave no tracking number or put in a fake one. Nowadays it's 85% tracked until the package arrived in the destination country.

Never tried any other option (DHL, etc.) because I think the whole waiting is just part of the whole chinkyorder experience I got so addicted with.

Because you actually have to apply some denoise filter as the raw audio from the bm800 has a hiss, but after removing that the sound quality it's quite good for 30dlls mic. I also have a Rode mic, the mono version of the Videomic Pro. Cheap chink shotguns sound like crap compared to our master race mics

Nice! Speaking about $1.50 stuff. I got some fake Casio's on the way. I'm not sure if they have logos on them. I also ordered a real one from Singapore.

In /g/'s archives one anon reports they get +/- 20 secs per day on his fake. So I won two on ebay the same day and bidded again the next day and won another one. A real one is +/- 30 secs per month.

Here's a link on the real one I ordered http://www.ebay.com/itm/142009068913
The fakes, just search "Steel Digital Watch" on ebay.

BAMBOO TOWEL FROM ALIEXPRESS

This item was shipped by China Post and took 20 days to arrive to the UK. The towel itself feels really nice, very soft and absorbent. It's quite thin but that means it dries quicker. Much softer than a cotton towel and the perfect size for your face and hands. The design isn't great but it's not bad either. It didn't smell much when it arrived but I washed it anyway before using. I don't know how this towel will hold up over time but it feels quite sturdy and is cheap enough to replace often. I don't like to keep towels for too long anyway as they tend to lose softness. Overall, I would recommend this towel and rate it 8/10.

GOOGLE CARDBOARD FROM ALIEXPRESS

Pretty good. The same as any other Google Cardboard from China, only cheaper. Arrived to the UK in 14 days by China Post. Not great quality, but neither are the rest of the Chinese ones. It was $0.70 when I bought it, however now it costs $0.95 due to the $0.25 shipping charge they've added. Unfortunately, the Moto G doesn't support VR because the gyro is shitty. I've given it to my friend. Overall, 7/10 if your phone supports it. If you haven't got one already, you may as well buy it for this price.

Sup /g/
Just got my iWork 10 ultimate in the mail.

Some first impressions perhaps?

The good
Solid build quality
Rather clean windows and android, especially android.

The ok
Installing the shark went easy, but I don't feel comfortable whether it's actually hold in place or not. It works fine in windows though.
Screen protector has a couple bubbles, but none on the screen. Neat.

The bad
Keyboard feels really flimsy.
I can exactly feel where the processor's at. That's not a good thing in my book.
Retarded cpu usage with waterfox, how is 42% when not using okay?
Display driver likes to crash every now and then.

The ?
Chinese video's on my desktop demonstrating accessories and how to boot into android.
Like neat, but I can't understand shit nor am I retarded.
Keyboard does not automatically go away after typing in windows. Minor annoyance but not cube's fault.

Overall, impressions are good, but stock windows has some issues.

Gearbest are known for giving a shit ton of goodgoy points for positive critique and they never post reviews of people giving negative reviews on the product, if there are 0 reviews on an item you know the product is shit, but they try to hide it.

Also look at how they treat customers who pre-order something:

http://www.timothycastleman.com/my-frustrating-gearbest-paypal-experience/

http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/dont-use-gearbest-and-if-you-have-to-read-this/

I bought something that supposendly the site said was "in stock" turns out however it didnt get shipped in 1 week, I asked why and the support lady says "not in stock please wait", I asked "why do you charge people and sell stuff that are not in stock?" the reponse: "its a hot product, please understand".

Also feels like half their support ladies dont even know fucking english, they use some chink translation program and give you automated responses, Ive had the same responses sent to me by 3 different people, it was like talking to a fucking robot and nothing gets done fast.

Sometimes they send it with a tracking code that leads you to a chink tracking site and all tracking in this site is fake, I compared with my friend who also ordered and it totally was automated messages, we got the exact same dates and times on the tracking. They dont mark the order as gift even when you tell them 3 times.

Sure they maybe have the "cheapest" price, usually 1-2 dollars lower than the others, but they charge for tracking/warranty/insurency and other shit that other stores already offer for free so essentially they sell for the same price or even higher for the same service.

Before calling me a "shill" Ive been ordering from gearbest, banggood, ali, fasttech and other chinese sites but the most frustration ive had have been with gearbest. You can maybe to a small order and be fine from the site but overall Gearbest is full of chinkery and jewery.

Xiaomi Yi Cam or a LEGIT SJCAM (pretty much all of them are decent. I had an M10 and it's gucci)

Other ones are probably garbage with no firmware updates.

webm related from my m10. original quality much better.

Hey /csg/, Comfy Tech Reviews here, I’ve made three video reviews today so I thought some of you might want to take a look.

Update on my review of the Warwolf Semi-Mechanical Keyboard (it’s shit and I got chinked):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r38NkeUB_Rs

DO YOU REALLY NEED PHANTOM POWER FOR BM-800? I put it to the test with two solutions and compared to the in-built mic on a Logitech C920:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlkiN62XsXE

And finally I joined you all in the Mixza 64gb shark card meme, I went in-depth on my review here since a few of you have been saying shark cards are defective lately:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=koeUIGR84hk

I’m having someone post this for me on my behalf because mods banned me for being too much of a shill. I’ll be back in about 16 hours shitposting and blowing rent money on chink shit.
Cheers!

>overpriced
It's a quality cam that's cheaper than a gopro

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tybp5I9ow3I

As for accessories they're like $6.64 for a 60M Diving waterproof case and $20 for a complete CP-GPK04 Universal Action Accessory Kit.

eken H9 vs Xiaomi Yi

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQKlnBVLuOQ

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vrxwjGOVQWo

>eken
comes with accessories
120 fps at 720p
wifi
has back viewing screen

>xiaomi
no accessories
240 fps at 480p
wifi
no screen, difficult to tell if recording (relies on a single small LED)

Has anyone got anything to add?
>>
>>54887626
i have the first one, and while the step tracking is kinda crap (maybe because i dont really walk further than 100m. A bumpy ride on the bus can count more than an hour biking) it looks and feels nice, the battery lasts for almost two months, vibrating on calls/notifications is customizable and works even if you leave your phone and work in the kitchen. Surprisingly, vibrating before an alarm rings is enough to wake me up and unlike the steptracking, sleeptracking is pretty precise even if you spend an hour reading in the bed before sleep
>>
>>54890692
really, really weird accent senpai. you sound like you've spent half your life in america.
>>
Has anyone here chinked the chinks with a dispute? Claimed that the product doesn't work when it does and got the money back?
>>
>>54890697
Sjcam trumps both. Xiaomi has better hardware and probably better build quality. You also quoted the highest FPS and associated res for some reason, doesn't make much sense
>>
>>54890848

fuck off jamal. This shit is cheap enough as it is without you jewing the poor chinaman.
>>
>>54889518
Was ist days mein neger?
>>
>>54890848
Doing that is definitely possible but is frowned upon here.
>>
>>54890870

To me it is relevant, I would be interested in knowing what the highest FPS the camera is, along with at what quality that highest FPS is.

Maybe I need to write it out better. Ill look at the sjcam
>>
>>54890403
Accessories lol if eken needs to bundle accessories you know the sensor and overall quality will be trash

Just go with sjcam or xiaomi and stop shilling eken

Not sure what you want exactly, but check the neopixels. You can find them on Ali as ws2812 in different formats. I ordered a few to control with an esp8266 running micropython.
>>
>>54890928
What's the camera for? 240fps is useless you have nothing that can display that
>>
>>54890328
Link?
>>
>>54890962
it's for slowmo

>>54890930

I'm cheap as fuck, so I was glad to save those 20€ on the camera and 20€ on a water proof case and mounts

Not actually ordered anything from them yet so can't attest for them being any good.
>>
>>54890962
Ah ok I understand what you're talking about now, like the other anon said, high fps equates to the quality of slow motion. This is why I was also reffering to the quality of the picture at this particular fps
