Hi everybody, with the release of the gtx 1080 i decided to replace my old shitty laptop by a high-end hand-build PC (firt time ;D). I know nothing and i would like /g/ to tell me if my choices are good, and what i can do to improve it
CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K
GPU: GTX1080 ( attendre que les non-founder sortent ???)
motherboard: Asus ROG Maximus VIII Hero
RAM : g.skill ripjaws serie 4 2x8gb
SSD: samsung evo 850 1to (je sais pas trop si c'est mieux d'avoir une petite ssd et un gros hd)
cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H100i v2
Alim: EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2 80 Plus GOLD
case : mastercase pro 5 mid tower
Windows 10

If your making a gaming pc I'd suggest going back to the i5-6600k. I not convinced the performance difference is worth the price difference.
Besides gaming pc's are heavily reliant on the gpu anyway.
I'd get an i5, a smaller SSD, cheaper cooling and motherboard, and less wattage on the PSU but you obviously shit money so go for it.
You should still get a smaller PSU; you don't need 850w unless you're doing SLI. It will be futureproof though.
