It's a really difficult question to answer anyway. This reddit list is good and comprehensive but obviously long due to those qualities:

If you watched all these you would be well up to speed and not missing out much.

If you want a slightly more personal opinion, The X-Files benefits from a long gestation period, and trying to binge so many episodes just to get to up to speed for the new series is probably a recipe for disaster. Season 1-5+movie are the best the series has to offer, and the new series will undoubtedly not live up to them. I'd recommend watching them (in full (experience the joy of the bad episodes) or the contracted list if you're pushed for time), and appreciating them. You're literally missing out on the best stuff if you half watch/rush your way through the early stuff just to be informed for the reboot.

Hope that helped a bit :^) Sorry if it's not exactly what you're after. Happy to review some lists if you're trying to decide between a particular couple though!

It's RAID5with 8 disks, so 21 TB. Storage space isn't decreased by adding a RAID0 layer.

I would recommend RAID60 though, which would give you only 18 TB but it would me much, much more secure.
