Damn it feels so much better. I couldn't figure it out before, I always felt like I was tipping over. Then I took a narrower stance and focused on opening my hips and pushing my knees out, and it just werks. My torso is way more upright, the movement feels way more natural, I feel the lift in my quads and glutes rather than my low back. I'm definitely weaker in high bar by about 30 lbs, but I feel I can get that back pretty quickly by actually training high bar.

get stronger hammies and glutes and actually hip hinge it so that your strength is consistent and not just based on tardstrengthing througfh the hardest part of the rom, so voliume deads with good form, rdls and variations, any ham and glutes assistance you can think off

or if you dont want to change your technique fundamentally, deficit deadlifts, deadlifts into heavy bands, possibly paused deadlifts right off the floor pete rubish style (if you really do just yank the bar up paused deads will probably hurt you before they benefit you)

Went 7/9 and failed my first 2 bench since my butt came up. For my 3rd bench I just hit my opener flat backed with no leg drive.

I used the same bench form as my last meet where I got all whites, but I've lost 11 lbs since then, so I think I had less fat in my ass. I'm gonna take some time to fix my bench and stop hip thrusting now.

So I gave the SL app access to Apple health and logged these values for today's workout, which is my third lift day.

5x5 65kg Squat, 5x5 47.5kg BP, 5 5x3 47.5kg Power Cleans, 3x5 Dips etc.

There's no way in hell 400+ is correct, right? Considering I spent 30min reading the Starting Strength .pdf for form cues and my last workout was 50 min. It's doing some inaccurate per minute bullshit probably.

You're never gonna put more than your deadlift plates on one side, even if you row with 2 arms. Given that, and the fact that you hold the bar very close to the majority of the plates, I'd say it's super unlikely unless you do something dumb like drop it.

apparently the craftmanship is shit and parts of the shoe like the tongue, the toebox glue, the laces and the strap will come apart at some point.

Doing some squats today noticed that my back on one side looked way more developed than the other.

Did some inspection and I found a fucking impossible to miss lump, doesn't hurt and I'm not in any discomfort.

well think about it

you would do lateral raises at a near upright torso angle, you would do rear delt flyes at a 90 degree torso angle, so basicly horizontally bent over. If you want to do the hybrid version of these you gotta be somewhere in between. Any deviation from that will favor the one more than the other

well you can do rows/chins and not do curls and get bigger arms. Plenty of guys have achieved big arms without any direct work. The catch is you need to get pretty strong at those pulls. If you are on a time limit maybe superset your pulls with curls, like the last set or something

To avoid salling, you could mix things up by doing differentvariations of the main lifts on their light days (ex incline bench, front squat, or a stiff leg deadlift/opposite stance), for medium days i like to do the normal lift variation, and heavy days i either do the normal lift, a pause variation, or a partial variation.

the important thing with this template is to realize its not set in stone, and it can change according to your needs. got heavy squats buy your hamstrings are hurting? just do front squats.

Why is it that my butt is supposed to not come off the bench when I bench press? and do accesories for them (they dont count incline/spoto/t&g bench etc as normal bench as above same with squat and deadlift) but they volume/intesnity is really bizzare

for 180kg squatter which want to squat 190kg in 10 weeks at next meet

week 1 squat - to 115 x 5/5/4

week 2 squat - to 130 x 4/4/4

week 3 squat - to 140 x 4/4/3

week 4 squat to - 150 x 3/3/3

week 5 squat to - 155 x 3/3/2

week 6 squat to - 160 x 2/2/2

week 7 squat - to 165 x 2/2/1

week 8 squat - to 170 x 2/1/1
