You add test if you want to use steroids, otherwise no. Finasteride may give you some side-effects (I personally get none), but if they are too much you can just discontinue use and you'll go back to normal (permanent sides are a meme).

Finasteride will protect against hairloss from taking testosterone and test derivatives such as dianabol and equipose. It should protect against any hairloss up to 500mg, higher than that and you're risking some minor hair loss, 750mg could go fine, but 1g and up (you'll never need to dose that high anyway) and you're almost certain to start losing your hair.

In most countries there are private labs that do it at reasonable rate, in mine there are not. So I'd have to go through regular doc and don't want them to put this in my file. I'm to poor for the private labs.

Ideally you should get bloods before, during (like near the end) and after every cycle (at least like 1 month after pct) and at times where you're in doubt if you got high or low estro or other issues.(than just specific hormonal panel, otherwise also liver (if orals) and blood lipid spectrum)
If you bnc you should get bloods at least periodically and before during and after every blast.

Note these are ideals and it will cost a lot of money, but this would be the safest. Reality is you are probably gonna limit yourself a lot more.
