I'm 6ft at 168 pounds and I've been lifting since January 2016. It took me awhile to start putting on mass after coasting on the first few months of easy noob gains, but after awhile I got the hang of things. What I would do is look up Scooby's fit calculator and figure out how many calories you need for a slight surplus, so as to slowly gain weight and muscle mass, and don't forget to check your macronutrient needs and meet them.

Progress from January. 5'11 and weighed somewhere in the 220s pounds.
Currently around 180 pounds.
This new level of weight is a new area for me. Like I was surprised the first time I sucked in my gut and it actually changed how I looked. Since this is new I have a question. Took time and consistency more than anything. ~4 years to get here from 6'7" 165 lbs.

Getting big is 60% diet, 30% sleep and 10% lifting so focus on those if you don't have them down.

Imo routine doesn't matter much if it is balanced and has the right volume for you. I would recommend some kind of push/pull or PPL if you have the time. Each respective day, work hardest on back, chest, shoulders and legs.

I actually lost a lost of muscle and fat due to university, and am now on a lean bulk, increasing my calories pretty slowly and running 20 min 3 times a week, pretending to increase to 25 min. Here is a picture from the same day that the other, but with different light. Planning to gain 6 kg in probably 6 months and do a cut from there.

Buy a set of weights otherwise your progress is going to stall. Progressive overload is the name of the game and you can only get so far without equipment. I guess if it's really not an option, look into calisthenics progressions.

6 ft 151lb here, been lifting seriously for like a month and a half now.

Could I get a quick read on my genetics/insertions? I dont know enough to know what I have "good" vs "bad" genetics for. Or am I too DYEL to be able to tell yet?

All of that is fine, but the real indication of your test levels is how quickly you can gain muscle and ultimately, how much you can sustain at your natural limit. You will have a much better understanding of your body and how it responds to training by the end of your first year. Don't get discouraged, it's a long process figuring out what works best for your genetics. Make sure you're getting 8 to 9 hours of sleep though. Absolutely essential.
