A lot of scales have some variance, mostly because they get moved around a lot and lose calibration.

The scales in Doctor's offices are usually the best way to accurately judge since they're stabilized, and rely on actual weights, which leads to actual consistency.

I'm a fatass that has been eating 2500 calories a day in order to lose some weight, but more than that I've been super active. I do cardio every day(with one day a week just being a light casual walk to give my body a bit of rest), I lift weights 3-4 times a week.

So far, I've been losing weight and putting on considerable newbie gains. The question is will this not continue? I know people say that you can't gain muscle while cutting, but it doesn't make much sense to me that my weightlifting progress is going to magically stop because I'm losing weight(particularly while keeping my calorie intake moderate for a fatty) and I'll just stop getting stronger. Do they mean mass as in appearance or that literally I will hit a wall where until I stop losing weight, I won't gain anymore strength?

Because ideally I kinda wanna get big while losing. I don't want to be a skinny bitch. I'm okay with not being huge, but my ideal is to cut and hit a kind of fatty with obvious strength kind of aesthetic.

so today, I ordered a double cheese burger at wendys, which was my only meal today aside from a med coffee. The burger without the bun was fine, but I got curious and looked up the nutrition facts for the sweet tea. This is pretty normal. Leg doms when lifting are severely exacerbated when you're on a deficit and don't get adequate calories/carbs to accomodate recovery.

I've seriously been nearly bed bound for a hard leg day on low calorie. It's why my leg days are always on Friday so I can take the weekend to reover.

first time posting here but I've struggled with bulimia since I was 16, and am now 23.

Whenever I try to cut weight, I do it well for about a week, then binge eat and vomit to undo it.

I also do combat sports, so I'm forced to cut weight all the time, with pressure.

Last two binges on this cut.

1/2gal chocolate milk
2 boxes zebra cakes
1 18" cheese pizza

I ate all of this and then vomited. It felt wonderful.

Today I came home and had around 600 calories of spaghetti, 300 calories of oatmeal bars, and maybe 400 calories of almonds.

My cut has been going well, and I'm around 10% bodyfat. I have a photoshoot type thing for cosplay this weekend and have been doing 1500 calories a day, and with that meal i went easily to 2.5k

I vomited and now feel awful.

Will this be athing for the rest of my life?

I spent way too much time playing WoW as my main vidya myself to the point where I didn't want to do anything else with my free time.

It helped to give up MMOs and just opt to play single player and non-MMO multiplayer games only instead. Still get to enjoy vidya when I find the time, but I'm way less addicted to the hobby now and only play games if I'm feeling up to it after doing all my other important shit first. (Like exercise.)

At a certain point your body will need more food to have your muscles recover properly. My muscle recovery takes longer when I'm on a diet vs when I'm bulking, I have to take probably another rest day per week to recover. Don't worry about being a "skinny bitch", just focus on the weight loss, it sounds like you're on the right path. You will make gains more quickly when you go on a lean bulk anyway.

I have to laugh at people who say stuff like this, because they obviously never played Ultima Online...which was the true golden age of MMOs. The players made the rules, decided their own fates. Every day was an adventure in that game. I have so many stories from it to this day that our friends laugh about.

Part of what made that game amazing that will never happen again is it had every player type all in one game. You had murderers, thieves, anti PKs, roleplayers, craftsmen, mercenaries, scammers, wealthy merchants and kings...and it all played out in a kind of free for all. Things that could never happen today like literally fucking MINERS GUILDS murdering each other over prime mining spots and sometimes going to war over it. Existence is pain. To save money and make sure I stick to the diet I each the same fucking thing each day. Giant bowl of white/brown/black rice with broccoli, carrots, chicken, onions, and zucchini thrown in. Three cups comes about to 1200 calories and I burn on average 2200. It's working so far but it's a pain in the ass.

My shits look great though. Fiber is a god send.

Day 7 of sobriety is in the bag! One whole week without cigarettes or alcohol, I'm feeling so much better.

I just came back with some groceries I was thinking about buying a bag of chips or some sort of cheat food to reward myself for 1 week, but I was a good boy afterall and only got:

The key to good broccoli is to not overcook it to make it mush.

There's a short cooking period where it's still crunchy and thus delicious. Having it stir fried is a good way of eating broccoli.
