Getting ready for my daily 4.5 miles in an hour around 6am-630am.

196lb on the scale this morning. Aiming for 182lb currently, may change this to 168lb @ 182lb.

I have been taking advantage of dr oetker £1 off pizza vouchers for £1.50 pizza. £0.50 for a 860 calorie pizza every day. Top it off with some coffee, fresh fruit, low calorie hot chocolate and If I get really hungry tonight I can have a grilled chicken breast with fried veggies and sauce.

When the frozen pizza offer ends I'll be moving over to flank steak and peppers/onion with soy, garlic and ginger. £9/kilo for flank steak is going to add up quickly compared to £4/kilo for chicken.

Anyone paying less for steak in the UK. How much should I be paying, what's the best I can do. Preferably something I don't have to cook in a slow cooker. I can't be eating ground beef.

Smaller meals. Pace yourself. I'm fortunate to never be hungry in the morning so I hold off on eating for a few hours. But the last 5-7 hours I'm awake fucking suck as I'm always craving and I try to stop eating at least 3 hours before bed.

Try chugging a water or two when you're really feeling hungry and don't want to eat.

Last Monday I was 323.6. I made the goal to lose two pounds in a week. I cut the calories. I hit the gym after work everyday.

I fuck up and indulge over the weekend. First with my boys watching the fights. (Wings)

Then again the next day with my mom when I took her to brunch (bloody maries and bread)

I don't know if this will be controversial, but just use portion control, count your calories, and keep exercising.

Eat a burger or some chips or a dessert or whatever. But keep it within your calorie count, if you can. Don't just binge.

Eating unhealthy foods isn't ideal, but don't think of it as something you must constantly struggle against. In moderation, it can't hurt you if you maintain everything else properly.

Luckly for me, my scale is still going down about 0.5 - 1kg pr week. But Im afraid that I will fall off and gain it all back again. Bruh if you're on a fuck 30 day water fast you shouldnt be working out. You will run out of electrolytes and your heart will fucking stop. Im SERIOUSLY.

Just sleep 18 hours a day, go on walks, and watch that bodyfat melt.

If you feel "true hunger" deep in the back of your throat, eat a small slice of watermelon immediately.

When you come back from the fast, do the first 2 days with watery fruits. And lots of probiotics as you re introduce low glicemic load carbs.

Just back from run.

I've made my choice. I'm milking the 50p pizzas until the offer ends, it appears the offer is extended until the end of the month after just checking.

So 2 more weeks of 50p pizza. Maybe some 20p noodles, and cheap fruit and veg. I'll be living under £1 a day. No doubt I'll be sick of the sight of pizza by June. I have 175 takeaways delivering locally on just eat which are a lot worse, and I still have a freezer full of chicken and veggies every 3rd meal.

It's also quite satisfying walking through the supermarket past every biscuit, crisp, pastry, bread, cheese etc... To my frozen pizza.

The few quid I save this month can go towards a bench top freezer rather than this little thing i've got at the minute.

Yup. My food cravings didn't stop until I was eating 1000-1200 calories a day for 2 weeks. Now I'm exercising off 500 calories on top of that 1200.

I started buying bags of carrots and just ate them things between meals relentlessly until I was full. I mean you can still pack on some calories eating carrots, but it's better than fruit. I was concerned I might turn orange. Drinking 40 calories hot chocolates and coffee. Also carrying around a 750ml water bottle with some dilute orange/lemon makes it easier.

I actually could eat a fish and chips with kebab meat and a bottle of coke along with a tub of ice cream, hd or bj, and not even feel like it would impact my weight loss since I don't think I could even eat the following day after doing something like that.

Problem is I don't want to, or know my bowels will punish me past the point of enjoying eating it. I think it's getting to the point where 1200 calories a day is the normal, and having a 1500-3000 calorie meals once a week provided I'm not gaining weight is going to be my goal.

I failed trying to count 1500 calories last summer btw. It's because when you give up you don't count. Lasted 6-8 weeks. What i'm doing now is eating 1500 calories because the foods that satisfy me are no more than 1500 calories.

Depends. How long have you had it? If your pancreas is just overloaded by your current diet, you can "fix" it by eating healthier, removing the strain on it, and thus allowing it to self repair. If you've had it for quite some time, chances are you've permanently damaged your pancreas to the point where it's either shut down or no longer functioning.

Do you have to take insulin? If not, you have a chance to turn it around. I'd say to just do a low carb, not keto, just reduce your carbs, and absolutely remove all sugar where you can. Give this a good month or two and see if your levels even out. But always take your doctors advice over a dog on the internet

No insulin. My doctor has me on metformin and two other drugs, which seems excessive but I'm not a doctor. He's OKed me for strength training and told me if I want to try keto it shouldn't be dangerous, but I'm still a bit wary.

My blood sugar was 77 mg/flour 4 hours after eating, but I don't have a glucose meter myself. This was done at the doctors office.

I'm hoping low carb and exercise does the trick, cause that's easy so far.

I've been on 1200 calories or less, while also working out at least 3-5 times a week for 93 days.

The trick is intermittent fasting. I do 18:6, but you have to work up to it. Start with like 14:10 and work up to 16:8. Once you do 16:8 for a few weeks it's easy mode. I can 24 hour fast any day I want now (eat dinner the day before then don't eat again til dinner the next day) with no hunger pains or cravings.

I have zero willpower, which is how I got fat in the first place. People call IF a meme, and I'm not a doctor or scientist so I can't say if it actually burns more fat, but I can tell you it makes cutting easy mode.

I started at 328lbs btw, so 1200 was way under my TDEE. 93 days later I'm down 50 lbs.

Give IF a try for a few weeks, but you have to at least make it to week 3. If you hate it after that, it's not for you. You are guaranteed to hate it for the first two weeks, so that doesn't count.

Ok, so while you are cutting and working on becoming fit, work on your work gains (and don't forget the mental/emotional gains I mentioned earlier).

Ask to talk to your boss. Schedule a time where you can talk for 15-30 minutes. Tell him you have goals and want to achieve them. Blow smoke up his ass about how you see him as kindof a mentor or some shit and ask him to give you some additional projects or work that he thinks will help you advance to the next level. This only works if your work is already great. If not, get it up to a great level then ask to talk to him.

I manage people, and I can't tell you how many people have NEVER had this conversation with me, yet I have this very conversation with my boss every few months, who I actually do view as a mentor. At 23 I was making 35k/year. At 31, I make 120k/year plus tuition benefits for MBA school plus bonus etc. If you want it, you have to go get it, and part of that is asking for it.

BTW, don't ask for a raise until you have increased your workload *some*. The best way for me to justify a raise is to see an employee doing well, then giving them a raise with increased job expectations. 4200 calories in 1 day, and my TDEE then was probably around 3000

No wonder I got so fucking fat.

I thought typing all that out would make me hungry, but actually just made me nauseous.

About 60 pounds down from an initial 304, and I think I might be going a little fast, not quite 3 months since I started, been regularly trying to hit 1200 calories on My Fitness Pal allowing for the occasional splurge of 15-17 when I'm going out or whatever.

Lately, the weights been coming off even aster and I don't really know why, I haven't been doing anything extra really. 1. Understand how fortunate you are to be single and young. You have so much more freedom than those who have families.
2. Don't worry about what your family thinks. I know that's easier said than done but just try to let them understand that your definition of accomplishment isn't necessarily getting married and having kids.

My dad isn't, and he's something like 105kg. However, he keeps telling me that when he was young, he was as «thin» as me; but he got fat with the time, and that as I grow up I will inevitably become as fat as him, because «genetics». It scares me a lot.

Yeah your mom sounds both rude and insecure. Your dad probably means well but he's wrong that it's inevitable you'll become fat. But it will become for difficult for you to stay thin.

My dad says things similar to that all the time but he eats horribly. He did an insane 3 month diet a few year back and lost about 30 lbs. After the 3 months he went right back to his old ways and is as overweight as ever. I have no doubt if he limited his calories he could be under 200 lbs.

In fact I have 4 uncles and all of them are nearly as big or bigger than my father except one uncle who is exceptionally thin for his age. He eats better than all of them and is essentially proof that my father and uncles are all over eaters.

So don't let your dad discourage you. You'll just have to try harder when you get older.

Have you eaten/drank? You really shouldn't try to weigh yourself more than once a day. I usually weigh myself right before I eat breakfast and after going to the bathroom. After that it's pointless since you've eaten/drank.

And either way, occasionally my weight will go up a bit even if i've stayed within or under tdee. It's just something that happens every so often. Almost every week for me as of late. I don't get discouraged unless I go like 3-4 day without any real progress. Which has only happened once on my current diet due to not drinking enough water and maintaining water weight.

I make homemade burgers that I would take over fast food any day.

You're looking at about 200 calories per patty. I use these thin buns that are 100 calories with 5g of fiber, and fat-free cheese that's like 5 protons and 30 calories. Of course you're free to put on low-cal toppings: greens, onions, peppers, pickles, pickled jalapenos, mustard, hot sauce, mushrooms, etc.

I make my patties thin enough that they cook in about 5-7 minutes from frozen. I prefer to freeze mine because I can't always get beef that will stay fresh for 4+ days in the fridge, and I'm not about to eat 3 burgers a day (though I do eat one burger most days).
