Did SL5x5 for like a month, on 1500-1800 kcal. Kept stalling so I've started doing a 8-12 rep routine instead, with cardio to lose the last 10 lbs. Plan is to bulk after losing the remaining fat. Should I continue this?

You should expect noob gains (the best gains), when you stalled on SL within a month you should have known something was fucked, had you just lifted heavy and ate maintenance from the start you could have been moving toward builtmode depending how good your genetics are, you will not look fat if your body builds muscle to adapt to a workout and if you don't eat too much over maintanance.

Do SS or SL (SS probably better, add some chinups since your upper body is lacking) and you will see results if you sleep and eat well.

Idk if you can tell from the angle but my arms are disproportionately small when compared to my body. I do calisthenics mostly but am starting to use DBs more, for a while pullups were my only arm workout. I have been doing 3 sets of 21s 3x a week but haven't seen much growth. I did see arm growth when I did balcony bro's routine when I had a gym membership. Is high volume arm days twice a week a good way to increase bicep size? Pls help.

On the left pic I weigh 186lbs, and on the right I weigh 174-176ish. I've been doing a damn hard cut for the past 46 days at about 1800cals per day IF style, usually less, sometimes a wee bit more. I can go over my meals with you if you want.

The biggest issue was libido and energy. Strength was maintainable, but barely hanging on. Would say I have about 3-4 weeks left before I can consider eating more again.

There are some days where I just want to gorge on mexican food and sushi until I die, and then there are days where I feel like if I go back to eating above maintenence again I'll just go back to being fat. Shit sucks.

Hey guys. I'm trying to look like the pics related. My pictures are in pink below. I've been following Rippletoe's program here: http://newbie-fitness.blogspot.com/2006/12/rippetoes-starting-strength.html

I can only do 20 lbs right now (yeahh....). I'm pretty weak, but I'm hoping to get to a nice summer body by September.

My diet is 1400 calories, and I have a cheat day on Sunday for 1600 calories. I follow my macros and cut out sugar.

How long will it take me to look like the pictures I've linked? I feel like I'm trying really hard, but since I'm a girl I'm barely gaining anything at all.

7 months, clocking at 152 lbs, previously was 147 lbs.

Probably pretty poor progression, though I've been taking things pretty casual. 3x a week for 11.5 hrs a day, focusing on upper, middle and then lower body lifts.

Lifts so far considering 3x5:
OHP: 90lbs
Bench: 165lbs
Squat: 145lbs
Dids: 185lbs

Been trying to focus on lower body a bit more, and watching out for my posture and pelvic tilt.

it stands for Push, Pull, Legs. Instead of doing full body everyday, you split of your workouts by doing Push exercises (eg. Bench Press), Pull exercises (eg. pull ups, lat pull downs), and legs.

Yea, not really pushing it as I'm making sure I'm doing a proper form, since I have a noticeable pelvic tilt going on that I'm trying to reduce/correct. Tonight I was able to push it to 195 in a 1x3 set, and after doing a progression of 145 at 2x8, then 165 at 2x6. So I should really just try pushing up the intensity a bit as you say. Just have a hard time eating. I've been aiming to getting roughly half my weight in protein (drinks, meat, etc), and just shy of a 2400 calorie budget, though I end up being in a 1800-2200 range usually. I end up just not feeling hungry after my second or third meal.
