jesus christ help me /fat/ how do I just stop binge eating

I've been doing great with my diet and exercise and lost two stone since around February.
But every so often I just get intense cravings and I'll fucking go out to the local cornershop and spend a tenner on crap like bags of doritos and chocolate and eat it all in one day until I feel physically sick and I'll hate myself for it.

I've still been keeping up my exercise routine and it hasn't been impacting my weight loss that badly but it feels fucking terrible losing perhaps multiple days of progress in the space of a few hours.

I've never had any before but would it be worth it to get myself some appetite suppressants?

Are you letting yourself get too hungry? I get some pretty intense cravings too but I find that it only happens if I wait too long for my next meal. I have my whole day planned out and I eat when I start to get mildly hungry. Been working well.

Also if I know I'm going to be in a situation where I will be temped a lot or have to go a long time without eating.. I may or may not use something with pseudoephedrine in it. Which suppresses appetite.

Personally I do it because of shit like that where my weight varies 3-4 pounds a day. Ill rather weigh myself everyday and keep track of the daily trend than weigh myself once a week and see the scale stay the same for a fucking month when I know I've been losing weight.

Sometimes it is easier to just not eat than struggle to stay within calorie range. Pretty sure I can find multiple sources saying that "calorie counting" is designed to fail. Even if you lose weight, it's incredibly easy for you to slip back into bad habits. There's a reason less than 5% of obese people who lose weight keep it off. Calorie counting is a meme designed for failure because it doesn't address your relationship with food - it simply turns food into numbers and we all know you've eaten bad shit if it fits your calories. Fix your body, including your metabolism, with fasting.

So, how long does eating high sodium carby foods effect you? My family likes to eat pizza on Fridays. This is fine, as I've built my calories around this. (My daily average on MFP is around 1500 calories) The problem is that I think it really affects how much I weigh on Sundays when I weigh myself. Also, I've been eating lots of pickles and sunflower seeds as low calorie snacks, but they're super high in sodium.

I've been drinking more water to offset this, but it seems like I've weighed 256-258 this entire month. Last Friday, I weighed 256 before I ate. This Friday I weighed 256 after lunch, and weighing myself today before eating, I'm 256.

Skip breakfast and lunch. Have dinner around 530 pm.

Intermittent fasting is nice if you have a big appetite and you need help keeping your calories under control. You don't really get that hungry, and since you're only having that one meal, it prohibits snacking.

Like let's say you're mum bought some junk food. You won't be tempted to grab a cookie cause ur fasting. And when you do have your meal, you make sure it's filling clean foods that fill you up while still being under your calorie limit.

Drink water whenever, it helps offset hunger. I usually have 1200-1600 calories a day rice chicken and veggies. I only drink water.

Two things to keep in mind when intermittent fasting:

Thanks, but I think you misunderstood my question a bit. If I eat well all weak, and eat way over one day with pizza, how long will it take for the extra weight from that to go away? I feel like it's a good weight if you just want to be sort of fit/look normal. Nobody will call you fat or skinny.

I've been 150lbs and felt way to small and people called me skinny all the time. That was before I started lifting and was just a cardio twink.

And I've also been 205lbs just under 15% BF before I let myself go and felt strong as fuck and got mires all the time.

So if I were you I'd probably cut to 150 and start lifting. Maintain for a while, enjoy not being a fat-nasty. until you feel comfortable to bulk.

Started out at 403 here. The weight will fall off if you just dont eat. I did loose keto (not keeping track of numbers, just stopped eating bread and sugar) with minimal exercise (maybe six 1 hr long sessions a month) and was down to 350 in like 2 months. I think I've lurked long enough. Going to start a 12-1500 calorie diet tomorrow. Not sure what I'll eat, I'll figure that out as I go, but I'm just going to log calories for now. TDEE is around 2200 given my BF, so I want to really cut it low. If it affects me too harshly I'll bump it up to 1800 calories but for now I really think I can do it at the lower end.

This is my experimental protocol for getting from sedentary obese slob to semi jacked in just 8 weeks.So any fatass who sticks to it will be shredded by summer.

I will explain in terms of food, exercise and drugs.

Week 1
Food: eat exactly as you have been eating but eat at a deficit of 500-750 calories per day.(if you were eating 4000 calories eat 3250 calories) in addition drink at least 1 gallon of water a day.
Exercise: mild 3 day a week cardio sessions
Drugs: 250mg test e, 350 mg tren ace per week, 50mg wimstrol per day, 24mg ephedrine per day, 400mg caffeine per day.

Week 2:
Food: eat the same diet you've been eating in week 1 but eat half the total calories (if you were eating 3325 calories, eat about 1650 calories) still consume at least 1 gallon of water a day.
Drugs: same as week 1, add in aromasin 25mg monday and Friday
Exercise: 3 mild hypertrophy weight training sessions immediately followed by 3 light cardio sessions, still training 3x week.

Week 3
Food: eat 1000 calories /day, consisting only of fruits, vegetables, raw nuts and seeds. Drink at least a gallon of water a day. Take a multivitamin/mineral and pro biotic culture pill a day.
Drugs: same as week 2
Exercise:same as week 2

Week 4
Food: water fast, eat no or as close to no calories as possible, drink at least 1-2 gallons of water a day, continue taking the multi vitamin/mineral and probiotic.
Drugs: test e 250mg/week, tren ace 350mg/week, winstrol 100mg/day, ephedrine 24mg/day, aromasin 25mg Mon and Fri.
Exercise 3x per week light to moderate hypertrophy weight training sessions, +2 light to moderate cardio sessions for a total of 5 training days per week.

Week 5
Food same as week 4
Drugs same as week 4
Exercise same as week 4

Week 6
Food same as week 3, but add in 100 grams of protein via protein powder.

I didn't take pictures upfront, but I've dropped from 250 down to 197ish. Still not happy obviously, but happier than back then.

I found a strength building program that I believe I can stick with. I've never lifted before and it frightens me quite a bit. Not sure how retarded this is, but I'm going to try to do both a calorie deficit and strength training program until I get down to the 190 range.

I'm not going to go extreme on the weights, but I have a bar and can do the basic lifts. Without a rack or bench I'm limited.

I do make my own meals. I like broccoli and chicken, but it is really hard to eat plain chicken. I have some 20 calorie lite zesty Italian dressing that may help. I saw in a meal prep thread someone was using salsa for low calorie, high taste. 170g of protein is very extreme, maybe 125g would be a little easier.

It should be noted that I went from 205 to 160lbs because I ate like 1000 calories for a month, then 1200 calories until I got there. In the end my body was a wreck. I destroyed my muscle. Didn't do any exercise and only was able to eat so little because I slept more.

This time I'm going to do it the right way. Losing fat and maintaining as much muscle as possible.

i ate a piece of chicken (was cooked on a grill, and i heard thats then healthy option compared to regular stove) it had BBQ sauce on it, hot sauce and few various spices on it

i also had a corn on the cob, and a banana

thats the only thing i ate today cause i was really busy and fell asleep once i got done doing things, so i forgot to eat

Lots of carbs, but it's healthy carbs. Hot sauce is fine but I would ditch the BBQ sauce; you don't need it.

Also, bake the chicken on a grill type dealio over a pan so the fat drops down but it's still juicy.

That is, unless you're doing keto, then keep the fat. Then again, chicken doesn't have that much fat anyway.

I know how to bench, I have a bench at home. I decided to be stupid and do 45s on both ends instead of the typical 35s that I do at home.

MyFitnessPal is the app I use. It sets a goal amount of calories, but I usually go about 300-500 under. As for snacks, I try and eat low carb like seaweed because it's so filling and low cals, but the trick is to eat enough to wear you're still a bit hungry after every meal. I'm doing keto right now and I'm hungry most of the time but the cool thing is I never get hungrier. Eggs also fill you up.

I wash my face with 1-2% salicylic acid in the morning, then put on amlactin lotion and if it's sunny I spray on some sunscreen.
