Who is /fat/ for? Fat members of /fit/ who want to learn how to eat right, lift weights, and lose fat. Here we ask others for advice and give moral support to one another. We all know how hard it first is and we all have to get through it to better ourselves. At the end of the day this is a support general whose goal is to help and motivate the chubby channers who need it. Please be warned that there are some chronic idiots who post in this general giving horrible advice that doesn't work for them or anybody. If you see something that contradicts what the sticky says, ignore it.

reposting since the old one pretty much died, my apologies

I've got a couple 5kgs hand weights and a nice, big park to run in. Which one should I focus on if I want to steadily lose weight while gaining a little bit of a bulk without becoming a skellington/have my skin become loose? I'm about 105kgs, imperial system be damned

How many calories you guys think this is if I only ate the chicken and cheese? No bread or rice.
>>
>>40773307
1500 calories
>>
>>40773307
>270 for 9oz chicken
>135 for whatever teriyaki is used
>345 for 3oz of cheddar cheese..
750 calories

That's my guess.

>>40773329
He said no rice or bread, you have about what I calculated before I read the last bit.
>>
haven't had pecans in ages
>>
Help, /fat/. I bought a ton of pork and don't know how to cook it without olive oil. It's already crazy high in calories, so I don't want to go further than that. My oven is broken. Do I resort to boiling it?

>>40773307
too many for you to be eating. Might as well just eat it all and nothing else for the day.

>>40773243
You're not going to become a skellington and your skin isn't going to be loose. Run 5km/day, do pushups instead of those hand weights. Maybe use them for flys.
>>
>>40773307

off the top of my head

most 1/4th cup of ched cheese is about 110cals.

and 1oz of chicken is approx 46cal but it looks covered in something else which may up it

im gonna guess this is 220cal for the cheese

and maybe 276 for around 6oz of chicken if it were plain. (hard to tell size of container)

so probably at least, 496 cal
>>
>>40773307
>>40773334
I'd add 50 calories for the beans and another 50 or so for rice that gets stuck to the cheese. Probably ends up being 850 or so.

I was told cheese would make me fuller and to eat more of it, but, yeah the calories are off the charts. No way I can eat 1700 calories in a day and have much of any cheese. Maybe an oz or so.

I can't decide if this high fat thing is a meme or not.

What do you lads put in your coffee for those who dont like it black?
>>
>>40773492
Multiple threads about high fat low carb and now fat is more satiating and don't spike your glucose and carbs just make you hungry. Dr. Jason Fung gets posted by the intermittent fasting people and he says the same thing.

But I don't know if I believe it. I do believe carbs just make me hungry. Because I know if I eat pancakes in the morning I'm hungry at like 10am, versus with eggs I'm hungry at noon. But I donno.
>>
>>40773490

I used lemon juice, chili powder, garlic powder, some onion, tiny bit of green curry paste, a tiny bit of salt, pepper (i love pepper i always use a lot) tumeric and cilantro. (being personal choice i know ppl dont like cilantro) i think thats it

and the sauce on it is a chili hummus.
>>
>>40773476
it's not a meme. fat is satiating. and the calories work out. if you were to eat as much cheese as you could or as much bread as you could, you would eat more bread, and then you would feel hungry again a couple hours later and would eat even more bread. you would not eat as much cheese because you would feel full and because it isn't carbs it will not bump up your insulin levels and you won't feel hungry again a few hours later.

fat in your diet can go a long way in helping you eat less. it's not really a meme because there is a scientific explanation behind it. fat is calorie dense but nobody expects you to replace two slices of bread with two slices of cheddar 1:1.

I cut out most dairy products myself desu and seldom use it.

but, a dr prob knows better than me. lol never have i heard people say to eat dairy. ive had all my fit friends tell me to cut back on it.

>>40773476
high fat does satiate you. It just doesn't mean you should eat high calorie. Stop eating cheese.
>>
Just had two big steaks because keto.
>>
>>40773527
But that little bit of cheese on my lunch was like 350 calories when I added it up. I don't think it was all that filling.

Plus isn't dairy bad?

>>40773547
I read that you can only take in like 40grams of protein at a time for it to get used, but that's another thing from Dr. Jason Fung which I'm iffy about trusting.
>>
>>40773560
You able to eat whatever you want on keto provided it isn't carbs/sugar?
>>
>>40773620
No. You still eat under maintenance, it just helps some people beat hunger and is supposed to preserve muscle more because your body begins to burn fat as energy instead of carbs. Results vary, many people get sick and disoriented on a keto diet. Works miracles for others.
>>
I just had a ice cream sundae with chocolate, nuts, bananas, sprinkles, and cherries. How fucked am I? I'm pretty sure it was a least 7000 calories.
>>
>>40773636
Go vomit right now. Get as much out as you can. If it's too late then for fucks sake don't eat anything else for today or tomorrow and have some damn self control next time.
>>
>>40773591

If you're breaking it up throughout the day and being active enough to compensate for what you're doing then 30-40 in one sitting is optimal. from what im also reading. I'd never heard of that. :)
>>
no dinner but i just had a big win.

>>
>>40773620
You gotta eat good amount of protein but still have a caloric deficit.
I ate probably 700kcal or less in these two steaks.

Keto is easy and I don't actually feel hunger, I'm doing it more for the protein since I'm lifting AND losing weight.

Like >>40773635 said, sometimes I get sick and disoriented on keto, other times I don't.
Really varies.
>>
>>40773635
>>40773668
Thanks. What's the max amount of carbs you can eat? Does it need to be absolutely zero or if 10 sneak in are you alright? Long time ago I did adkins diet and I think it was 20g carbs for a limit.
>>
>>40773667
As a guy losing weight, I agree, it's a pretty good feeling.
>>
>>40773636

it was probably around 300-700cal depending on size and where you got it, etc. weight lift/calisthenics for half an hour to an hour. you'll be ok. just dont keep doing it.

and dont puke.

help me out lads, family filled the fridge, the cheesebread sandwich looks like a tempting option but I want to stop eating those

I'm thinking 2 chicken thigh pieces, some rice, and 1 corn on the cob

however I have no idea what I want for vegetables, thinking of dicing some avocado but it tastes like shit when I prepare it, what do?
>>
>>40773683
The rule is no more than 5% of your diet, which can be pretty hard. No milk, no tiny amount of carbs, nothing.
>>
>>40773722
I'm a wageslave that is often on the road, so I just do my best to pick something that won't make me weigh over 9,000-lbs. It sucks, because yeah at home is way easier.
>>
>>40773347
Broil it (UK grilling)
>>
>>40773778

tiny bit of lemon or lime, some garlic, some chili pepper or cheyenne pepper. you can spread it on the chicken/etc if you want

BUT:

honestly the stuff you listed 2 chicken some rice and 1 corn is enough imo unless you're trying to bulk. maybe save the avocado for a snak bbz

>>
>>40773793
i just buy black bear sliced honey turkey prepackaged. its ~250 cal for ~42g of protein. downer is the high sodium content but if you're doing cardio youll sweat it all out.
>>
>>40773667
i lost a lot of weight when i was in uni but since i finished i've been putting it back on.

but i'll never forget the feeling of the watch i wear getting progressively looser and looser on my wrist. and feeling clothes get less tight. i'm gonna sort myself out.
>>
>>40773838

Eat less at the dinners you have with people if you cannot absolutely eat something else and pick something else up.

if you're worried about being hungry during that time then drink tons of water before hand and bring packets of oats with you or dried fruit.

make healthier choices while you're out - and stop letting people enable you/using others as an excuse.

my family and friends make me food all the time and I decline.

im sorry if im coming off aggressive but really it just sounds like excuses.

I have two jobs, and barely time to sleep. but, i still make it a point to be healthy.
>>
>>40773636
you fucked up and you know it. you lost the battle, my suggestion is eat nothing else today. drink coffee / diet soda for appetite suppression and take your mind off food. play video games or watch movies.
>>
>>40773854
Engineering them things, mostly I sit quite while Chad talks and then do the work. I'm generally good about at least attempting to eat well though.

>>40773879
Thanks. Yeah, I get offered all kinds of drinks and rich deserts and stuff. I'm pretty good at turning them down now. Generally when I fuck up it's because, like today, I just made the wrong choice based on a good effort (thought maybe cheese would make me fuller/be a good idea).

No worries, appreciate the help.

If I fuckup I just workout, or try to and eat light the rest of the day. :) it's ok just keep trying to get better.

If I get hungry i drink 250ml of water and then wait an hour.

oats or a quick protein shake (I use NOW because it's low carb decent protein mixed with water and a bit of honey [for taste] or some sort of milk but i opt for almond.) make me full if i dont have time/am lazy.

>>
>>40774011
what surgery dude?

I had a tumor cut out of my calf a month ago.
Still can't walk 100% right
>>
>>40773936

yes. it depends where you got it and how big it was.

but if you want breakdown:

265 for base ice cream
110 for the nan
sprinkles it depends but 20cal/tblspn give take brand etc.
nuts probably hmmm. 170cal for maybe 30g
cherries would be insignificant if they're regular but they're about 8cal each
chocolate prob 110

so it's a better ballpark of: 675 give or take.

so, still. workout for half an hour to an hour.

it's not just about cals in cals out.

you have to consider the nutritional value.

soda has copious amounts of sodium, can stretch your stomach out perm, make you feel like shit, not to mention other toxins and none of the nutrition milk does.

my advice is tight but not too tight clothing so it doesnt snag on things. just dont drop weights or be really loud. females dont want to talk too you and if you're cutting while bulking do high protein low etc and eat at a deficit still and i reccomment 1600-2500cals (I stay at 1400-1600 and get 100G+ protein a day)

it's extremely important to count cals and nutrition when you're doing this.

it's not til you run out of fat reserves that you have to be like "oh sht"

if you want a list of food reccommend eating like a lot of calisthenic body builders on youtube do and you'll be ok.

I was on keto for like 6 months and felt great, went through a breakup a couple months ago and came off of it, now im back in and out but every weekend i cant seem to resist eating sweets, cookies, candy, etc. etc. and it's fucking up my progress

how do i stop stress eating, i guess
>>

I eat peanutbutter daily and im ok. you just have to watch your intake.

but, i only eat organic peanutbutter bc it doesnt have all the added CRAP. so, probably why im ok.

Question above asked about getting fat, not cutting.
Also you could eat the same shit you eat to get fat to get skinnier. You just have to limit it if your goal is cutting.
There's that dietician that ate only McDonald's and still lost bodyweight. Sure it's still unhealthy but you still can achieve losing those lb/kgs.

Stuck in family's house, and since we also take care of foster kids, we always have some treats and shit like that around for them. plus my parent's aren't great health examples so that doesnt help the foodstock around here either
>>
>>40775014
that's the problem with carbs. A lot of crap is processed nowadays and there's also hidden sugars which increase appetite.
If not keto, I'd do LCHF just eating enough carbs for your body to have sufficient glycogen stores. Also, not sure if broscience but I have a good feeling fats digest slower which keeps you less hungry all the time.

that is something ive heard too, i usually wake up and have some Bulletproof-type coffee (not the actual brand but the same recipe) and that keeps me good until about 8-9 pm, but after that i just can't seem to resist snacking. I'm doing IF and i know im not going over my total calorie goal by /that much/ since i work out a long and am generally active during the day, but i know it's slowing down my progress and i really just hate the way i feel when ive eaten carbs and sugars and all that other shit

I didn't say they were equivalent on every nutritional level. I said that shit is loaded with calories, which will fuck you up if you're trying to cut weight. It's one of those "healthy" options that just sets you further back if you think "healthy" means all you can eat.

Well, first off, I'd like to find out just how to make a punching bag of my own. We have plenty of shit in this yard of mine to use, and I want to go back to getting myself nominal on my excercise (Was doing the workout every two days, sometimes streaks of three days in a row just to do it)
Also planning on also trying planking, some curls, a few dips, and some back compactors along the way. But if anyone really wants to give me an idea for a home made punching bag, that'd be fine. I just really want my hands available as a weapon in case of any emergency.

Guys, I have a SERIOUS issue since I started losing weight . I am talking about skid marks, pic related

Basically, I have been about 330lbs for the last 5 years. I recently took to healthier eating and have lost 30lbs so far.

The problem is my ass can't handle this healthy food.

I used to shit myself twice a week. On Wednesday afternoon and during the night on Sunday. I could prepare for this because I knew it was coming and I knew why.

Wednesday was Pizza day so I'd eat maybe 6 whole pizzas during the day and wouldn't be able to get to the bathroom due to pains so woud sit naked on the sofa on some bubble wrap and shit, easy cleanup. On Sunday I used to hit up McDonalds for maybe 4000 calories alone then probably the candy shop near my house for another 3000. Usually would give me wind and I'd shit during the night. I'd sleep in the tub to prevent issues.

But healthy eating is making me wet fart. Veggies, lentils and stuff are too fibre full for me. I 'maintain' my loss but Wednesdays and Sudnays are hard, so on wednesday I have a 'pizza' made out of ironed lettuce leaves topped with carrots etc and on Sunday I buy some burgers from McDonalds then bring them home and replace the patties with lentils. But I fart wet all the time. I've gone through maybe 8 or 9 pairs of underpants since I started and have started shoving balls of foil in my asshole. But it really hurts and I sometimes dry my wet ass with a hairdryer and forget the foil is there, and it gets fucking hot and burns my hole.

How do I prevent skid marks?
>>
>>40775972
Surprisingly yes but you need to look in the "where are they now" episodes. And they do look shitty and spare skinny but fucking hell, it doesnt look so bad after losing 500lbs

feels good, man. hopefully i'll only need another 4-6 months (or less) to drop the last ~9% bodyfat. currently about 182 @ 19%, started at about 198-ish i think with a bf% at least 5% higher than is now. planning to go to about 10% bf, which would put me at ~165 if i lost no muscle.
>>
>>40777125
I think the color of your skin is a really minor worry. You'll look like shit if you're fat regardless of how tanned you are. The most important is the shape of your body. Being pasty is just fine. If you're actually concerned about being pale, then that's as bad of a case of body dysmorphia as the guys here who look better than 99% of normies and still feel unsatisfied. Good looking skin is smooth and healthy, tanned or not tanned is really irrelevant.

>>
>>40773511
Hey anon, fat fuck here. It works.

Pros: you don't feel full on a high fat diet, you feel... a notch below nauseous and I think it's due to the grease so, not that bad a feeling but not pleasant.

A small high fat meal satisfies you plenty.

You begin to love the little amount of veggies you're allowed to eat.

Cons:

You will crave carbs as you ween yourself from it. That's the roughest part. I went 14 days before getting stevia, and it is so fucking disgusting, my body attributes it as sugar so cravings go away.

You don't shit much. That sucks or maybe it's just me.

You can smell everything, especially sweets, and they tempt you.

Headaches, weakness, blurry thoughts as your body shifts from carb to fat as fuel.

That's it. My BIGGEST advice is to learn to eat smaller portions before you start on the diet. It'll help a lot later on.

Used to be 345lbs. Down to 295. 3rd month. Not bad. Not easy but worth being able to breathe.

>>40773243
don't bother with the hand weights, won't do you much good. Get much heavier ones or do bodyweight exercises for the time being.
A pushup at the lowest point is about 75% of your weight you have to lift, that's already a bit more than 75kg in your case. Once you got used to that, think about a gym membership or just keep doing the bw exercises but higher reps.
You will not be able to bulk on a calorie deficit, you will only be able to preserve what you already have, if you eat right and do your resistance training.
Run 3 times a week, do 30 second high intensity sprints and then jog for a minute. Do this as long as you can. When you can do at least 30 minutes, then that's your new bare minimum.
Do not forget that exercise is only 20% of the equation. You need to take in fewer calories than you expend. Track your calories, there is a couple of sites and apps that can make it easier.
I recommend MyFitnessPal, since it makes it easy to get a good idea of what you should be eating and tells you your daily allowance of calories and nutrients.
Good luck.

I got a personal trainer for a short while. They're really cheap, really informed, and really encouraging. Mostly hoping to find out what is going to work for me exercise-wise to achieve my personal goals. Might see if they'd be cool with a "on/off" per month kinda thing since it's still more money than I can pay every single month until i'm done but we'll see.

Plus the gym they work at is super cheap and more geared to weight lifting and is 24/hour which is awesome.

Question for /fit/ tho since this affects fatties more often: Anyone else here with fallen arches? What kind of shoes do you use? Every kind i try hurts my feet to the point where i'm limping before i even break a sweat (when i work out barefoot at home though they're fine)

In general a lot of moms aren't great at decorating cakes and pies and shit. My moms baking always looks really weird and looks like a kid did it but it tastes good. She only bakes around christmas now.

My friend is making me macarons for my birthday next week and i might get a cupcake for my 'cake" so i don't have a full cake sitting around the house (can't binge on it if its not in the house). I live too far from home to get a homebaked cake but i'm excited for the macarons.
>>
>>40778269
You'll spike with water weight on creatine, but after that you'll still be losing fat so the numbers will go down. No reason you can't be on the tine while cutting
>>
>>40778279
I tried googling for how much and people were reporting around a 5% weight increase.

How much should I expect to gain? So far it's been about 3-5 lbs. It's hard to tell because I believe I am losing fat at the same time based on my counted calories and prior weight loss progress.

>9-grain bread
>>40778130

There are 210 calories in 1 serving of Subway 6" 9-Grain Wheat Bread.

4oz chicken is around 120 cals + the nutrition

it's still only about 330cal not including the veggies and we both know that wont add up to shit.

protein will fill you up better.

just fucking kys christ.
>>
>>40778265

you can keep the running the same and start off on small weights and build your muscle. but if you interval weights and cardio it's fine but you still need rest days, so imo it's easier to make a routine so both are in the equation that day so when you rest, you rest.
>>
>>40778304
Thanks. I think I've already gained a good amount of the water weight, but I've been not entirely consistent with the creatine and I'm eating a caloric deficit at the same time so it's difficult to tell.

It has hurt my ego watching the lbs go up while I'm still maintaining a 750 deficit.
>>
>>40778319
Not him but I'd go broke living on chicken. Shit is expensive in canada.

There is nothing wrong with bread if you track it into your daily kcals/macros.
>>

>>
>>40778353

he was buying subway and anon told him to not get the chicken and was better off eating the bread and im trying to correct him.

bread has no nutritional value. if you go out and you're getting a meal dont leave it out bc it's more cals, you have to check nutrition too.

like if you're saying "dont eat the chicken bc cals bread it better bc less cals" you're probably a malnourished retart
>>

Macarons sound yummy. Yeah, I think a cupcake is a good idea. Actually I can't even eat that much sugar anymore or I get sick. I've been dieting for a while and now when I cheat too much, I feel a bit ill. I guess just not used to the sugar. So a small slice is about all I want anyways.

You are fucking retarded. Chicken and bread both have different nutritional values and serve different purposes. If you ate only chicken, your diet would pretty much be only protein.

Stop eating shitty breads.

For a healthy example, Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted Whole Grain Bread has 4g of protein per slice.
>>
>>40778427
>>40778424

Here are food groups and a few examples of where you'll find the most carbs:
Dairy. Milk, yogurt, and ice cream.
Fruit. Whole fruit and fruit juice.
Grains. Bread, rice, crackers, and cereal.
Legumes. Beans and other plant-based proteins.
Starchy Vegetables. Potatoes and corn.
Sugary Sweets. Limit these!

I'd pick: plain yogurt, whole fruit, rice, grains, beans and other plant based, starch vegs potatos and corn.

dont have to eat bread to get carbs.

>>40778130

Cals in, cals out AND macros matter.
Look up the guy who made Fat Head. He did what Morgan Spurlock did and ate just fast food for a month but he wasn't a retard about it and didn't overeat and counted calories and macros (He has his meals for this month freely online).
Basically, your calories matter too but if you go over macros on carbs or sugar you'll still get fat, plus you need the right balance of everything to be healthy and have energy.
>>
>>40778478
No one is saying you need to eat bread to get carbs. Only that bread isn't the fucking devil and it does have nutritional value.

>>40778512
You are saying bread has no nutrional value and directly comparing bread to chicken

>>
>>40778542

because someone was telling him the chicken was bad for him. follow the convo

I dont eat bread but i get in about 100 protein a day

I dont drink coffee or juice.

I have energy all day.

btw, ive lost almost 80lbs.

instead of bread i opt for something protein dense.

you dont fucking need energy when you're fat.

that's what your fat is.

if you're fat, go for protein foods and cut the fucking carbs.
>>
260kcal, 40g protein and 8g carbs.
Guess I'll eat 60g protein of turkey to end the night.
>>
>>40778427
There's also studies that show a low carb diet helps those with high cholesterol and diabetes.

The point is this:
Good bread has nutritional value (As in not white bread with added sugar).
It doesn't mean you ONLY eat bread, just like you don't ONLY eat chicken or ONLY eat fruit. You have a balance.

>>40778431
No one was saying Bread > chicken in the first place, the anon meant that probably due to how that chicken is cooked at subway it's barely healthy anymore

For example: See KFC. Even their grilled chicken is shit for you.
So yes in these cases you would've been better off eating one serving of bread instead of the sandwich.

But that said I don't know literally what that sandwich is because I don't eat at subway (garbage tier sandwiches only a step above Blimpie) so maybe the anon was wrong 100% and their chicken is fine.
>>
>>40778608

their sandwich choice was completely fine and under 400cals with decent nutrients. but i dont get why someone would tell them to leave the chicken out? like you need to protein to build muscle.

I just didn't like him telling him that. that causes people to make stupid choices later.

i mean fast food is shite in general but i think anon made a healthy choice.
>>
>>40778437
Even before I started dieting I've honestly found sugar to taste sweeter and sweeter to me in a bad way anyway but I do love cupcakes (Like the gourmet kind from those little hipster cupcake shops.)
And ive just been craving macarons for months and just haven't gotten any when my friend reminded me she's a baker lmfao.

And yeah i'm the same, I spent a lot of really sick nights right before I decided to change since I did have a decent overall diet to begin with (Just too much of everything rather than bad choices...like i could eat 5 or 6 oranges in a day, two or three at a time).

Thank you anon :)

>>40778448
Riiiight? Firehouse is god-tier in terms of chain sandwich shops. Great healthy options that taste fucking amazing. I ate a shitload of these before I started cutting. I swear if it were viable i could live off their sandwiches.

They were the only thing that came close to a local sandwich shop in my hometown after I moved.

Fuck now i'm hungry, good thing it's almost dinner time and i already have that made or i'd go get one haha.
>>
>>40778448
>firehouse subs
>sub 500cal menu
holy shit is this real
>>
>>40778681

yeah but their food is "meh" feels greasy/heavy to me and their subs are more expensive and more cals compared to subway.
>>
>>40778465
There's also healthier options too like (some kinds) of wraps (seriously read the label some of them are huge in calories, carbs and sugar for no reason) or lettuce wraps (works best with an asian food though or it just feels stupid to me).

If you really only like white breads there's other options for that too like just making a smaller sandwich (My mom used to do this when she was dieting but craving bread. She'd just make a one-slice sandwich kinda like a tea sandwich enough just for her craving with some extra protein and shit in there from the deli meat.
she used to just fold the bread over it but i like cutting it in half first.

Then you can add other shit to your meal to make it better too
>>
>>40778531
To be fair a lot of healthier breads are on the higher end of pricing but if you keep it in the fridge or freezer it won't mold so you can eat it sparingly since no one needs bread everyday anyway (I try to get my carbs from other sources most of the time but once in awhile i like a sandwich).
>>
>>40778709

thank you. holy fucking christ. this is exactly my point. lol
>>
What should my carb limit for the day be?
>>
>>40778729

HS senior, signed up for the track team this morning. This is the first time I've done any sports since middle school. I'm already down about 25lbs just adjusting my diet, hoping to lose at least 25 more. Am I gonna make it?
>>
>>40778591
You need SOME healthy carbs in your diet retard, you can't go zero carb and be healthy that is what people are saying.

SOME sources of chicken are NOT healthy such as KFC. Just because something is healthy to begin with doesn't mean it's healthy at the place you're buying it from, like subway or a chain of any kind. That doesn't mean the food on it's own doesn't have nutritional value.

And just because you have a boring diet doesn't mean everyone has to. Millions of healthy people eat good kinds of bread without added sugar and look better than you probably do (if you're not sure about that you post a pic and i'll post a pic bruh :) )

Also wtf does your coffee or juice have to do with anything? or how much you've lost? I lost 20 pounds incorporating healthy carbs into my diet in three weeks.

Carbs are not the devil and neither is bread as long as it's not a shitty bread with added sugar and bleached flour.

God you're such a self-indulgent retard.
>>
>>40778741

according to mfp max 200 if you're a guy but i aim for being under 150. but, if you're more active you have to eat more. so using MFP is optimal
>>
>>40778652
Nah I think it was misread but the anon is a retard anyway for thinking thats a shitty source of chicken.

Like if someone made fried chicken (Like BATTER fried) with a side of mashed potatoes and idk, macaroni salad, you could say "You would've eaten less carbs and calories if you had only eaten the sides, wtf were you thinking?"
They don't literally mean "that macaroni and mashed potatoes are better than chicken" they mean "You made your chicken so high in calories and fat that you should've only eaten the fat side dishes instead."

That's how i've been interpretting it but if what you say is true, anon is still a retard regardless since that's not that bad. A bit of a higher calorie meal but if you eat a light breakfast and your dinner doesn't push you over on calories and macros who gives a fuck? It's not an unhealthy meal.

Honestly eating out is the shittiest decision regardless. You'll save money and have total control 100% of what's in your food if you just make it yourself. No surprise sugars or anything (Like you know how chinese food chicken gets so soft? They literally soak it in sugar. Even a healthy meal from a chinese place is fucking awful for you.)

But even then it's fine as long as you keep track of your eating. Someone can eat fastfood and lose weight if they still follow cals in/cals out and track macros, you just probably won't feel as good as you would eating a healthy diet.
>>
>>40778830
eating out is usually a social thing.
ill request muscle maker grill if i can control the venue. expensive but totally manageable stuff there.

and I dont want the attention so I'm not posting myself, sorry.

you didnt read the entire convo.

chicken is specifically from subway.

we're talking about how an anon told him to skip eating chicken entirely and implied the bread was better for him than the chicken.

I stated some of the things I do because something im doing must be working and my reasoning behind it.

I dont need education on carbs, but thank you.

My diet isn't boring just because i dont eat bread, drink shitty sugar diabetes or coffee.

you're fat. you don't need the bread. it's just empty carbs to me.

keep up. thanks.
>>
>>40778706
Subway is disgusting are you an idiot? Just look up any real source of information on the restaurant and you'll regret eating there. Firehouse tastes amazing, and they have better sources for their ingredients. They're a little pricier but if you're a poorfag you shouldn't be eating out anyway, plus they donate huges amounts of money to local firefighters which is pretty cool.

Plus subway hid their spokemans kiddy diddling just so they could keep making money off his image.

if you want to boost even more then add a bit excercise into the mix

They heard all the memes or see people eating bland diets (Chicken and rice erry day) and never think "Huh. maybe OTHER healthy grains exist? Maybe I could add a DIFFERENT vegetable to dinner tonight?" and instead put down anyone who eats anything that isn't disgusting and flavorless as a fatass who won't make it even if their diet is fine
(like i've gotten snapped at for eating a serving of almond butter with my apple snack even though I'm still watching calories and macros and losing weight with it as a consistent snack lmfao.
>>
>>40778830

yeah that is a better articulation. I just dont think it's healthy mindset to disclude something just because it ups the cals a bit. if you need to cut cals, i'd personally cut the bread from subway.

That's what I meant by it. Not everyone has the same tastes yknow? Like I literally can't not eat bread I'm italian. It's engrained in me (gran. ha.) but i try not to eat it every day or even every week because even the healthy shit is more calorie and carb dense than it needs to be. Fad diets don't work and eating just rice won't work for a fatty because their problem is self control from temptation foods that are high in calories, not eating too much. >Fad diets don't work and eating just rice won't work for a fatty because

well that's part of the trick. the rice (loaded with carbs, zero fat) takes completely away their hunger drive, thus reducing their graving to null. absolutely null. that is why you should even recomend them to eat enough rice, noodles, potatos, corn so they would not eat fattening foods, and it is actually easy for them after getting the human natural food

Keep track of the sodium to see if you are getting too much. For sure a risk when you buy a lot of packaged stuff, but salads you should be mostly okay other than the dressing.
