Just weighed myself today, I'm 267 pounds @ 6'3 height. I've been a fat motherfucker since Junior year of high school, now I'm 27. My max was 330 but I've mostly stayed around 290 as of recent memory. This is the most weight I've lost after failing to lose weight so many countless attempts.

Anyway the number itself makes me happy, that if I work hard I could officially be "overweight" instead of Obese on the BMI is thrilling. Best of all I'm not feeling like I'm torturing myself because I'm just doing low carbs while following 2000 Cal diet. It's nice to still have a little bit of Cream and Bacon.

I'm getting really scared though that when I do lose the weight I'll look like Fat Bastard (after he lost the weight) from Austin Powers. That's not going to stop me, but just tell me the fucking truth how much horrible flabby skin should I expect once I reach 200?

I never make it past half a day tops. My willpower is SHIT. I emphasize with you as I know what it's like to start and fail time and time again.

I might get some flak for this but I kickstarted my current diet with a week of eating Protein Bars. Costco has Protein Bars 21 g of Protein and 4 g Net Carbs. They taste like Protein Bars, they're alright.

First three days of dieting I ate 1600-1900 Calories of this crap a day and Black Coffee.

Why do I mention this? Because I fully believe fatties like you and me can't count calories for shit and are doomed to overeat even if we have scales and MyFitnessPal. That or we end up eating way too little in one day and then making up for that by binging like crazy the following day.

I think relying on these Protein Bars honestly reset my hunger meter, I really realized how much food I truly need to feel content.

Maybe there's a better meal replacement plan out there, I know that Soylent meme is out there but that shit seems kinda nasty. After that first week of eating nothing but Protein Bars I slowly introduced real food. And I'm doing alright right now.

I'm not telling you to do this, hell I haven't lost my weight so truly I'm just as inexperienced as you. But counting calories fucking counts. And I think using a cheat like Protein Bars really helps.

I don't know what to think about Keto but at the end of the day I think getting your calories from Protein is far more filling than Carbs, so avoiding Carbs is good for that reason alone. Sugar is without a doubt your greatest enemy.

This is an old scan I had from 18 months ago, I lost 15kg then put it all back on when missus went through pregnancy.

Scan at the start of March was similar, except more fat. Down 3kg so far and need to keep at it.

Recommend a body composition scan to those that are driven by numbers.

I was a chubby/fat kid up until around the 4th grade. I remember other kids having more fun than me because they could actually handle being physical and I also kind of admired other boys bodies at that age and envisioned to be more like them (only a little homo). My mom usually just made /fatty/ shit so losing weight was tough. A good first step for me was to just stop eating chips/cookies and drinking soda every day. I remember telling my family I wanted to be healthier and they just kind of laughed. After not eating/drinking shit for a while and exercising with a few older kids, I actually became pretty healthy - comparatively at least. I'm not super /fit/ now but I'm not chubby and I'm pretty happy with my body. If you're trying to lose weight, you really need to be honest with yourself about why you are chubby in the first place. You can't think shit like "Oh, I ONLY eat double deep fried chicken 3-4 times a week!" also stay away from toxic people who will put your goals in peril.

120kg in august, down to 98kg. I was 102 in January, I really need to take this more seriously.

NEVER BUY ice cream or biscuits or crisps, just eat another meal if you have to.

That's probably what I'd aim for... And that might see you down to 300lbs or less. Which is still pretty awful.

Instead of worrying about calories, try changing the way you eat and what you eat.

At first, try to limit the times you eat throughout the day (try eating 3 times a day). Also, try lowering your carb intake, and drop the sugar.

Try recording your eating comprehensively. Every thing you eat, weigh it and record it. Use MFP or make your own spreadsheet. Get the numbers on your total calories, macros, sugar, sodium. Micronutrients too if you can bother. Don't change what you eat at first, just record everything.

You'll get summary view of what it is that you're doing when you look at your records. Probably you'll feel ashamed and disgusted at the numbers. This is your constant source of motivation.

Remember that you don't need to eat healthy to lose weight, just less calories. Once you've achieved a stable habit of recording your eating, start reducing your calories. Take a multivitamin so you don't develop deficiencies. Drink tea or coffee or even just water when you get hungry.

And tell yourself that hunger is a feeling that you can ignore. Thinking that something is unbearable is a way to make it unbearable. Nothing terrible really happens when you don't sate your hunger. The real discomfort comes from focusing on the uncomfortable thing and thinking how uncomfortable it is. Let it be in the background and do something else to occupy your mind.

If today is day 1 then you should honestly just spend a month or so eating below you TDEE, get used to that and then add on exercises or cut more calories. You WILL lose weight just eating under your tdee.

I started with just basic bodyweight exercises, then started counting calories, then added lifting, then cut more calories, then added cardio, then cut more calories, then started IF. all over the course of a year and my weight lose was a constant 1.5 lbs a week the entire time.

I think it really helped me not lapse, just my opinion on it though.

Make meal prepping on Sundays super easy and I can eat it throughout the week without having to cook. I make mine with brown rice, roasted sweet potato and zucchini, small amount of grilled chicken thigh, cucumbers, a variety of beans, and cilantro

I realized how bad I am when I took acid for the first time. Dunno why I listened to some retard on the internet and went 300ug. Had great fun for 4 hours then it started to fade away and I was like in psychosis. Everything was itchy, I didn't know what to do with myself, went to the bathroom to shave my beard (no idea why, just felt like it) and then I noticed myself in the mirror. Had super big pupils but my sight was like in HD or even 4k.
Every pimple, mole, scar, wrinkle was so defined. I noticed my slight double chin, how big my waist and legs were. How fat was my stomach. I felt disgusted and sad as fuck. Probably a bad trip, but it was this moment that I decided no more, lol.
Next day lurked /fit/, shit articles, made measurements, downloaded app and bought gym pass.
It was at the start of february.
Now I'm here, exercising and loving it, eating veggies like a retard, counting calories and losing weight. 10kg already gone, 50kg to go but I'm pumped.

also since im here the easiest thing that's helped me is finding someone who is your desired body type and just being friends with them. you start picking up on their eating habits and etc. (it works. anytime i work out or eat healthy in front of family or friends they suddenly feel disgusting and everyone in my life is starting to snowball into fitness now)

I already do count my cals. but sometimes people get stuck despite counting, or don't know what they're doing. it's easier to lose weight if you have supportive people in your life.

On the subject of switching up meals, I think you can get a lot of variety in soup and stirfry. Stirfry changes each time you make it depending on the veggies you have, and you can add different things in terms of spices and sauce (soy sauce, lemon juice, peanut butter, red pepper flakes, garlic, etc). With soups, you can make a lighter one like chicken (if your wife buys whole chickens, use the bones to make a broth), you can make it heartier like chili (add beans, tomatoes, look up other things if you like), you can puree vegetables for some thicker textures (I had a celery and potato soup with some cheese that was pretty good). These are both things that could incorporate the chicken, eggs, and veggies.
