When you eat enough to get this big I don't think logic applies anymore. I mean think about it, they could shed a huge amount of weight just by eating what a normal human bean eats. Instead they gorge themselves on all sorts of crap.

That's a part of it. Fat people don't recognize real hunger pains, real fullness, etc. To many if they aren't stuffed, they aren't full. To many, a pain for dehydration is a hunger pain (This was partly my problem before i started getting fit. I just didn't drink water for whatever reason, and so whenever my body was like "bitch i'm thirsty" i'd just go eat something instead not realizing it.

It wasn't until I started getting fit and drinking 8 glasses a day that I started to tell the difference between the two.

A good beginner weight loss tip is to drink water before you get food to see if you're really hungry or not.

When I was a child I was alone at home a lot (babysat by either my brother, who ignored me the whole time, my uncle, who slept the whole time, or my inattentive great-grandparents who would mostly let me do what i wanted.

So i ate like crazy, ate what I want (Lmfao my favourite thing was eating a head of lettuce I kid you not. I was a weird child-fatty).

As I got a little older like 8+ my mom started working more and cooking less so dinner was often mcdonalds if my grandpa wasn't cooking that night. There was a period of two weeks at one point where my mom got me, a child, mcdonalds every night.
And it's not like i was skinny and this was just bad but manageable, I was already a size 16 in childrens clothes.

So as I grew up and got into my teens, it turned more abusive. I got made fun of constantly by my family for being the only fat one despite being raised with shitty habits, and that's where I began eating for comfort not just because "yay food"
so i began sneaking food, eating all of it to hide the evidence that i ate any of it at all.

I'm 25 now and only just getting my life together and learning better habits. It's not easy to break free from, this is why I RAGE when I see fat children, or children given things like soda because they're not being given the tools to live successfully and healthfully.

So honestly it really depends. Even most emotional eaters don't get so obese they can't move though. fuck them.

I agree with you but I do think you need to understand that NOT ALL but SOME fat people, usually people who aren't "two chairs" status of fat, are usually people who grew up learning bad habits. Some grow out of it and learn good habits, others give up easily because they've literally never known anything other than being fat, but a lot of them started as children, with their parents to blame.
Past 30 you're kinda pushing it to use this as an excuse but i feel like the 20s are an acceptable time or someone to start realizing this and learning good habits.

Not saying he doesn't have a point. People should be more accountable for their health and weight. But good lord. The emotionally investment he has in other peoples bodies is weird. Like I would never be fat. But I don't really give shit that other people are fat. I never understood people who get this upset over people being fat? Aside from being concerned for my loved ones if they are fat. I really don't see how you get so worked up over strangers being big. If anything - I feel sorry for them.
