Yeah, but /fit/ isn't 4chan. The 4chan you're referring to is /b/ and /pol/. This board is nowhere near those two in terms of influence.

The clearest proof that /fit/ is a dead end is the fact that the sip meme hasn't metastasized elsewhere. I don't have the stats or whatever, but I can't think of any other /fit/ meme in recent history that's had as much traction and longevity as sips. Sips started almost six months ago and there's currently a "sips general" thread with 200+ replies from 140+ unique posters. And sips is nowhere but /fit/.
