I'm doing a mock meet this Friday to test my maxes. I was thinking in doing warmups and then 95% first try, 105% second try and based on feel go for a crazy 3rd try.

I've been running sheiko intermediate large load for the last year. BW from 80kg to 85kg. My projected lifts will be a 152kg squat, 112.5kg bench and 172kg deadlift for an increase of 38kg for squat, 18kg for bench and 33kg for deadlift, 88KG Total added in 12 months. Is that a good progress for a year at my level?

Anyway wish me luck lads. Maybe a miracle will happen and I'll get a 180kg deadlift.

I just took 280 for a safe 710.5kg total to land me the jnr 83 total record, and also the #1 83 open ranking of 2016. I'm also around 8th overall nationally with that total.
Had I have made my 3rd bench of 160kg, I would've taken 275kg for my second deadlift for 710.5kg subtotal, then taken as heavy as I thought I could do for my 3rd deadlift.

My biggest concern is the angle of my back. It seems way too flat to be considered good form. The issue is I literally could not get it more vertical than that. If I open up my hips more I probably could but then my knees wont be over my ankles, is this a sign that I should widen my stance? Ankles are at the rings for reference.

We make programs but we also use programs and customised versions of programs.

Whatever works best. Then our job is to keep track of each athlete's performance, improve technique, their level of fatigue and bodyweight, and most importantly be there during the competition, helping choose the numbers and making important decisions and handling all the paper work and etc.
